Main Staff Announced for 'Jashin-chan Dropkick' TV Anime

The official website of the anime adaptation of Yukiwo's Jashin-chan Dropkick (Dropkick On My Devil!) web manga announced main staff members on Tuesday. The anime will begin airing in July 2018 with a duration of 30 minutes per episode on BS Fuji, Tokyo MX, Chiba TV, Tochigi TV, Mie TV, Sun TV, and Nishinippon Broadcasting. Amazon Prime will also stream the series exclusively.

The opening theme "Anoko ni Drop Kick" will be performed by Jashin★Girls, an unit consisting of cast members Aina Suzuki, Nichika Oomori, Miyu Kubota, Yurie Kozakai, Chiaki Omigawa, Rico Sasaki, and Riho Iida as their respective characters.

The manga also inspired a free-to-play game titled Jashin-chan Dropkick: Wakiaiai Satsubatsu Battle!, which launched on the RPG Atsumaru application last Friday. A collection of mini games within the game will be added periodically.

Yukiwo began the supernatural comedy manga in Flex Comix's Comic Meteor web magazine in April 2012, which has 117 chapters released as of Wednesday. The ninth volume was published by Holp Shuppan last December.

AIC is in the same states as Gonzo was in 2009. They got almost bankrupt in 2015 or so and lost most of their staff. Now they are slowly reciovering (they made new Tenchi Muyo OVAs recently and are making a few motre related to their old franchises).

As for the ARMS — hard to say. Indeed, thair last anime is dated with 2015 and thay were last time creduited with significant subcontractor work in 2016 but there werre no news that the stiudio has financial issues or anything like that.

As for the nOmad, thyay are moderatelly active as a subcontractor studion but they almostr stopped making the anuiime4 as the main studio since 2013 (helping J.S.Staff with the last season of Milky Holmes and making that 6-eps series in 2015 hardly counts).

If you think Nomad is missing, then you have not seen the A.I.C studio and the Arms studio. Those studios that already had a name disappeared! Although, according to the ANN they are still in the active, but under what conditions, I no longer know.

I wanna call this a knock-off Kobayashi's Maid Dragon, but this manga debuted first, so it might be the other way around.

I'm always down for some slapstick and I'd be happy to drop the lesbian overtones for a bit, or at least tone them down.

Now that I think of it, this may be the same brand of "soft" cancer than Umaru-chan or Konosuba

Never heard of Nomad before, but I can tell that they are making good efforts in producing this. Although they have been inactive for years, the animation quality actually looks somewhat good.
