TV Anime 'Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World - The Animated Series' Announces Additional Cast Members

Additional cast members for the upcoming Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World - The Animated Series TV anime have been announced during the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2017, as well as possible episodes in random order, which are popular among the fans according to a poll for popular countries done in 2015. The anime will air on Fridays at 10:00 p.m. via AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11 starting October 6.

If you want to get spoiled XD about Photo and Sou, recommended readings (in this order, and yes translations are floating around the internet :wink:)

Volume 3 Prologue and Epilogue
Volume 12 Chapter 10
Volume 15 Chapter 4

Since Volume 15, Photo gets at least one chapter per volume, and officially becomes a main character like Shizu and Master.

Sounds like we could get some of the old stories, but there will definitely be new content as well. It makes sense, it's been many years since the first series aired, so maybe a retelling of Kino's backstory and Sakura's (interested to see the VA play both roles) episode? It would help new viewers get into this without prior knowledge of the series.

I'm planning to watch Kino no Tabi, actually. However, seeing Inori Minase earning a role in this anime is really nice to see and I'm very happy about this. Now my priority for this anime will be even higher. x) (I have no idea who or what kind of character Photo is, though..)

Possible episodes in random order? I still don't know if this will be a sequel or a remake. Maybe they will do it half new episodes, half recaps?
