Original Anime 'RoboMasters the Animated Series' Announced

An original anime titled RoboMasters the Animated Series has been announced through its official website. The announcement also included cast and staff members, as well as theme song performances. The anime itself will be based on a robot manufacturing competition held by Chinese university students, and is a collaboration between a Chinese manufacturing company and Japanese studios. A set of promotional videos were also released.

The anime will be aired on TV starting October 13, 2017 and will air at 10:30 p.m. via WOWOW.

It feels like an interesting concept, but it doesn't really offer me anything to feel stoked about. Will give it a try nonetheless.

I don't really mind the art.

I'm kinda getting fujobait vibes from the two guys with glasses though (not that that'll stop me from watching it).

I don't like that style of art in the pv, it's missing a layer of shading/tone/detail or something.
It's like it's copy pasted onto the background.

The concept also interest me as well.

It'll also be interesting to see how Yasutaka Yamamoto directs this given the concept. PV looks alright.

Well, its just a Chinese manufacturing company who's involved and asked for it, its not like the usual shitty chinese studios like Emon and co. are touching it.

Love a concept like this, but if it's gonna focus on anything other than the robot battles and possible building them I doubt I'll like it. Especially if it's romance or edgy shit.
