Cast Members for TV Anime 'Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?' Revealed

Been reading the translated LN since volume 2 and I'm really looking forward to this. Gonna prepare myself for some of those feels that I know will hit (not tragic but really emotional at points).

If anything, it's more on the line of stories reflecting on what is the definition of life, along the line of AI and sentient mechanical entities, that kind of subject; rather than how war makes peoples lose sight on the value of life itself.


the lizard guy is the most important person from the military in the story. He isn't a main character but he's a recurring and important presence for the story from start to finish.

I don't think there's any clear cut anti war imagery in Sukasuka. I mean there was a war 500 years ago but that's not what caused the end of humanity since it pretty much finished one year prior to the tragedy, and the races that survived are currently at peace since humanity has declined (I meant, is extinct, couldn't avoid that one~ :p ). The threat on the ground hardly count as war, since the ground side doesn't acknowledge this as a war in any way.

It will almost have completely no action if its adapted and paced correctly.

Just adding, contrary to what anime studios usually do, Satelight announced the VA of characters that aren't appearing in the first episode. This includes Noft and her friend Lantork (as they are away on an escort mission when the story starts), which both may not appear until the second half of the series, depending of the pacing. Maybe they're going to change the order of scenes or something, but if not, no Inori Minase until half way in.

Thanks for the info. I'm getting intrigued about the leprechauns and more stuff from the world of this anime. Hopefully the studio that picked this up would do this series justice.

A plot that sounds awesome but is something you get from your generic action harems......doesn't have a harem tag......shit might be good!

Noft is a "she". Or a 'it" if you consider that leprechauns are not legally considered living beings but furnitures/weapons instead.

I just checked the anime entry and I only recently discovered the character page updated with character pictures and the seiyuus. Is Inori Minase's character, Nofuto, a boy or a girl?

Lots of unknown names in there, some really surprising chocies for little kid as well. I hope satelight will be able to handle it properly, as that would be a huge waste otherwise >_<.

Grave of fireflies LN side would probably be more another long title holder (but older), "satougashi no dangan wa uchinukenai : a lolypop or a bullet".
I don't know what anime to compare sukasuka with though, as it's fairly unusual for a story.



I don't think there's really anything you could call "edgy" in this one. It's not a happy story, sure, but a calm and sad one.



Despite being currently listed as a main character on MAL, Inori Minase's character Noft/Nofuto (wrongly listed as Ifuto, should be a "no" rather than a "i") isn't really what you would call "main" at all, unfortunately.
Same for Lantork.
@tsubasalover : maybe you should change the "i" of ifuto for a "no" in the list- although mal database is also wrongly listing it as ifuto (despite having as a picture for the character a pic with the name clearly written on it).

After all these "not so enjoyable" LN adaptations the last few years - I'm really looking forward to this one. I hope to be able to enjoy this.

It's nowhere near Re:Zero.

I actually have no complaints with this cast selection, although a PV would be actually needed if anything.

The title and character names are so long they need 5 tweets to announce all of them.
