BL Visual Novel 'Taishou Mebiusline' Gets Short TV Anime for 2017
The official Twitter account of game developer HolicWorks announced that BL visual novel Taishou Mebiusline will be receiving a TV anime in 2017. Tentatively titled Taishou Chicchai-san, each episode of the anime will be 5 minutes long. A key visual featuring the protagonist Kyouichirou Hiiragi in both normal and chibi form has also been revealed.
The story takes place in the Taishou era (1912~1926), centering on Kyouichirou Hiiragi who travels to the capital to join Japan's army during their wars with foreign countries. However, he finds the military's thirst for power to threaten to consume even his life… (Source: VNDB, edited)
The BL visual novel was released via LoveDelivery label on December 21, 2012 for Windows platform. A PlayStation Portable version was released on February 27, 2014 via Dramatic Create. A picture novel began its serialization via Papyless on April 27, 2015 and PlayStation Vita version was released on January 28, 2016. A fan disc titled Taishou Mebiusline: Teito Bibouroku was also released on December 18, 2015.

@Loyalty06 Yup, I'm glad there is a BL that has a really great sales. 10 Count can get animated into an OVA because Shinshokan (the company the own dear+) franchise is low :( They have few BL manga that has a great sales, not like Kadokawa. I knew that Super Lovers was going to get animated into a TV series from before because it was published in Kadokawa Shoten, and that company has a plenty of money, that's why we should not except everything when it's come to BL. And Ten count is a smutty manga, don't forget that.
ABOUT Finder, the newest chapter is going to be done on February 2017 (The mangaka announced it officially in her Twitter account) Nope, Finder sale is almost 50-60k copies, same things to the older volumes. The only BL manga that sold a millions of Copies is Junjou Romantica ( 3 Million copies worldwide) and I'm sure that Sekaiichi Hatsukoi sold more than 1 million copies, since most of the volumes sold more than 100k copies and it has 11 volumes. Ten count is going to reach 1 million soon ^^

@thebigofan Junjou Romantica is no longer selling from 100k since last year, it's decreasing every year. I think the fans in Japan are fed up from Shungiku Sensei, most of the dropped the manga and some of them said that she is trolling XD Sekaiichi Hatsukoi is selling great. About 10 count, some people mentioned in MAL and in Twitter that 10 count sold more than 203k+ (for volume 5 only) tho I didn't find any link, that's why I added it as 170k+ hope the next volume sell like that.
About "No, Thank you" there is no news till no :( I think they canceled it but I remember I read a tweet in the official account if No thank you saying that the anime is going to happen. Not sure why there is no news :(

I would like to ask you a question you're the one regularly updating the sales figures... What are the chances of Ten Count getting an anime? I mean when I read SUper Lovers, it was the last thing I thought they'd animate. So I was hoping if it will have? Even Finder didn't have a proper anime which is sad..(a new chapter is coming in 2017, I heard)
Also, the Finder series, I read in one of the translated chapter, have sold over a million copies worldwide altogether? Is this true?

Let's just not forget this. An DerCen animating Trick or Alice is a branch studio of PrimeTime. parAdI Ce animating No,Thank You!!! is another branch of PrimeTime also. We finally got news of ToA after years so I don't think the studio is abandoning their other anime project.
It's just my own speculation of the silence that went for years but if that's the case then more good news then. I'm not getting my hopes up too much though.

Plus I don't really think it's a good thing for BL anime to get sequels like, look at Junjou Romantica 3, I was so happy when I saw the news but Shungiku sensei just played at my feeling T_T My favorite couple is Junjou Egoist and we didn't get anything from them. ONLY 1 EP. Instead of sequels, it's better if we get a new BL animation every year. Isn't that great?

Ten Count should absolutely get an anime. The only BL I have seen selling over 100k a volume is junjou romantica and Sekai ichi hatsukoi. And guess what they all got an anime!
I don't think Kumota sensei has stopped doing BL. I got the latest copy of Be Boy Gold and she has a new chapter of Itoshi no Nekokke in it.
