TV Anime 'Chaos;Child' Announced for Winter 2017

The Chaos;Child official site has announced that the TV anime will premiere in Winter 2017. Silver Link will be animating the series and three main cast members will be reprising their roles from the visual novel of the same name.

Chaos;Child is the fourth visual novel and anime adaptation of 5pb.'s sci-fi adventure franchise, following Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate, and Robotics;Notes. The story is set in October 2015, six years after its prequel Chaos;Head.

An anime adaptation was first announced in March 2015.

I think it is a little sad to restrict yourself from checking this out just because the anime adaptation of Chaos;Head was bad.

robotics; notes was traumatic garbage tier. Heard c;h was worse so rather not watch that prequel...
But on it's own, c;c got nice seiyuus, & have faith in Silver Link with well animated comedy cgdct. If it goes dark drama like Gakkuen 35, then that's a different story...

I watched the prequel some years ago, and I don't remember anything, lol.

Sees semicolon in title. Immediately think of Chaos;Head. Recall hearing and seeing bad reviews and opinions on Chaos;Head. Sees cute girls in the poster. Pribably going to watch for the girls cause am filthy casual.

I can look past bad animation but not bad artwork so unless it's reallyyyyy awful I think I'll be fine!

it's a sequel ? then i need to watch the first one ASAP. the first season made by madhouse btw lol xD suprised me a little bit. but looks like many people aren't liking the first season. don't know cause of animation or bad execution, but the sequel will be made by silver link so i guess nothing to worry about ?

the artstyle on the cover looks similiar like Fate/kaleid's art style so there will be no problem on the animation obviously, now for the execution..... :D

Winter 2017..so this production has been taking quite awhile but the fact that it's likely to premiere before S;G 0 is noticeable.
