TV Anime 'Boku no Hero Academia' Reveals New Designs and Cast

The official website of the Spring 2016 anime Boku no Hero Academia has revealed five new character and hero outfit designs by animator Yoshihiko Umakoshi. At the same time, the 15th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine of the year has announced voice cast members for four of the new characters.

Mashirao Ojiro: Kousuke Miyoshi

Hanta Sero: Kiyotaka Furushima (Inazuma Eleven)

Tooru Hagakure: Kaori Nazuka (Eureka Seven)

Rikidou Satou: Tooru Nara (Beck)

Kouji Kouda: ???

Boku no Hero Academia is based on the manga by Kouhei Horikoshi, which has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since July 2014. The adaptation by animation studio Bones will begin airing on April 3.

Hmm, well I actually have not watched the fight in question since for the most part I am NOT a shounen guy, I just assumed it was a case of misunderstood artistic choices a la Ping Pong, where there were a lot of people shouting about how bad the art was when they couldn't understand that it was done that way on purpose. I have seen it referenced in sakuga appreciation and was aware that it was a collaboration between many big-name animators, so just assumed that it was the same ignorance in effect.

If they play it right, this could be Bones' breakout onto the long-running shounen scene. I can agree with that, except one thing. The Naruto Shippuuden episode was just terrible and it destroyed the whole fight for me and many other people so you could had given a better example here.
However, I have doubts that they make a longrun out of it. We will have around 85 chapters when the anime begins to air, imo it's to soon.

That is a lot better way to put it lol I thought you were just some troll but at least you give a reason for why you think so. I wouldn't really say it's a ripoff as it has a completely different story telling. While One Punch Man is about someone trying to find a strong opponent, Boku no Hero Academia is about a guy wanting to become a hero, but has a hard time due to his troublesome power. I would say the manga is good so far, it has some clear rules and it definitely has different values than One Punch Man focus on.

Yes, when it finally airs, it will most likely stop.
Though I don't see the problem, a lot of people are excited, so why does it matter if there's some news about it? It's not like they're talking it up, just revealing new information.

It's literally a whole class worth of characters, so around 20-25 or so, not even including the teachers, pro heroes, villains, and other classes students.

Best character design I've ever seen, did she goes full naked when she only use the glove?

She would have to be, right? If clothes are the only thing that makes her visible, than she'd have to be naked.

Out of the whole supporting cast that has been revealed so far, these are the most weirdest ones. First hero looks rather abnormal, reminds me of Scorpion from Spiderman.
