| The official website of the Spring 2016 anime Boku no Hero Academia has revealed five new character and hero outfit designs by animator Yoshihiko Umakoshi. At the same time, the 15th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine of the year has announced voice cast members for four of the new characters. Mashirao Ojiro: Kousuke Miyoshi  Hanta Sero: Kiyotaka Furushima (Inazuma Eleven)  Tooru Hagakure: Kaori Nazuka (Eureka Seven)  Rikidou Satou: Tooru Nara (Beck)  Kouji Kouda: ???  Boku no Hero Academia is based on the manga by Kouhei Horikoshi, which has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since July 2014. i have not read the manga but the MC kind of gives me the mummen rider feel. saying rip off does not feel right , more like idea off. btw is this any good? |

That is a lot better way to put it lol I thought you were just some troll but at least you give a reason for why you think so. I wouldn't really say it's a ripoff as it has a completely different story telling. While One Punch Man is about someone trying to find a strong opponent, Boku no Hero Academia is about a guy wanting to become a hero, but has a hard time due to his troublesome power. I would say the manga is good so far, it has some clear rules and it definitely has different values than One Punch Man focus on. |
