Manga 'Boku dake ga Inai Machi' to Begin Spin-off Serialization

The April 2016 issue of Young Ace magazine, which will publish the final chapter of Kei Sanbe's mystery manga Boku dake ga Inai Machi, has announced that the series will begin a spin-off serialization.

Tentatively titled Boku dake ga Inai Machi Gaiden, the new series will begin publishing in the July 2016 issue of Young Ace, which will go on sale on June 4. According to the magazine announcement, Boku dake ga Inai Machi Gaiden will tell additional stories which were not explored in the main series.

The eighth and final volume of Boku dake ga Inai Machi will go on sale on May 2. The currently airing TV anime adaptation was previously announced to adapt the entirety of the manga's story.

Hi can someone please tell me what does Spin-off mean ??

Is the manga going to be different e.g. New hero or Different ending (Satoru X kayo)

Or whatever? Any examples e.g. Is this going to improve The Orginal manga?

Hm...I don't really like spin-off, but this series is really good, so maybe it will turn out to be a good one too. Thank you for the interesting news.

Rokka was actually a good show and one that was way too underrated.

AOT, Parasyte and Death Parade are the 5-6/10 shows that for some reason get blown out of proportion in terms of hype for absolutely no reason.

I think that Kei Sanbe mentioned before that there would be some extra chapters covering things that he couldn't fit in the manga.

And the thing with the teacher it's a serialized publication in a magazine that began last year and ended recently. The "book" is just a compilation of all published chapters.

I don't like spin-offs, crossovers, uninspired sequels/prequels, comedic OVA's, but they didn't really make this to milk the success of the anime, they were published before.

And most anime viewers wouldn't check any of the side material, except if they made an OVA from this.

Yeah but they are just watching the anime not reading/buying the manga.
And why people care if "they are milking it"? As if they are buying the manga.
Lastly, It's the people's choice if they are gonna buy this new manga or not. It's just business after all.

Manga spin-off, novel spin-off, live-action movie, I just can't wait! Even if it'll be not as good as I expect (well, I don't expect much from spin-off), I still want to watch/read it, becouse ending wasn't satysfying and I want to see anything from Erased universe.

Because it is milking. Spin-offs in their entirety are just shameless money grabs to try and keep the series in question relevant.

Wow, I'm kind of excited. Probably will be about Satoru's classmates and their stories, or it could be interesting and be about Satoru himself and discovering his revival power, I don't remember him mentioning when he started having revivals. Anyway, can't wait to see what will be done.

It just brushes over it. And pls don't expect anything from anime with 3 vol to cover.
I think it will show the story abt the other char(his friends) in the second timeline.

Actually, the novel about the teacher was serialized in a magazine and the book that would be published soon would be a recopilation.

I'm not really interested in this novel, apparently it wasn't that of a success as a serialization in Japan.

The spin-off seems more like some extra chapters than a spin-off, some pages give the wrong idea, that it would be a new story.

I wonder if shippers would get their romance in this extra manga.

You guys smell that... Smells like milk to me and I suckled on my mothers teats for over a year , so I would know what milk smells and tastes like.
I'll have a taste when it releases and pretty sure already it will taste like milk as well (Not in the good kind).
