Manga 'Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!' Gets TV Anime Adaptation

The wraparound jacket of the fifth manga volume of Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!, which will go on sale on October 27, has announced that the series will be adapted into a TV anime.

The school comedy series, drawn by Muru Imigi, has been serialized since the December 2012 issue of Dengeki Maoh magazine. The magazine's official website also posted a collaboration PV by Vocaloid producer 40mP.

Synopsis
A girl with a lot of common sense, a boy whose only inspiration is to draw the perfect bride in 2D, and their always sleeping president. What is wrong with this art club? (Source: MU)

Stumbled on it as a new chapter was updated. and its a decent slice of life comedy. hope a good studio gets the job.

Don't think that the adaptation will be very popular. It's just standart type of comedy with slow-paced romance part which within probably 12 episodes will be even slower.
So don't have a reason to hype myself, but probably end it watching.

Meh..

The reason is because the video wasn't originally a PV for the anime, but just a music video Vocaloid did for the manga a couple years back. The song is in the girl's perspective expressing her feelings for the blonde boy which explains why she's in the vid so much.

I read a little bit of this when it first came out.

I don't remember much. I think it was ok enough for me not to hate it, but not really interesting or memorable enough to keep up with its releases.

It doesn't sound weird like the other vocaloid songs I've been exposed to though, but yea, I am not a fan of vocaloid.

I've heard of this from the 40mP song!! The art is adorable and it looks like generally my kind of thing so I'm excited!

Yay! I remember reading this manga and thought the first 2 chapters were kinda funny, then it became sorta stale.. but still, the colour palette they use looks bright, and I really like it.
