New TV Anime of 'Arslan Senki' Announced for 2016

It was announced at Sunday's Arslan Senki (TV) event, Yasashuiin! Carnival, that the series will receive a new TV anime production in 2016.

The Arslan Senki TV series is an adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's manga rendition of the semi-historical epic Arslan Senki by Yoshiki Tanaka. The novels were previously adapted into an OVA series between 1991 and 1995. The TV series ended its two-cours run in September 2015.

Arslan Senki was a pretty decent series. Flawed up the ass, but a pretty decent series nonetheless.

Looking forward to Season 2.

Really none of the characters are very well fleshed out. The cast is really flat imo, though I think Silvermask is really cool. If not for him (I assume) taking a central role in the next season, I wouldn't be nearly as excited.

Sweet hopefully it is a sequel. I don't see the reason for a reboot that quickly. Also i hope they get a better budget lol

I was one of those people who thought the possibility would be low since the sales weren't so good, but I'm happy I really enjoyed this series and I hope Akatsuki no Yona eventually gets another season too.
