1st series adapted volume 1 to 3 and we're at the 7th volume. How are you counting there, that'sa mystery.

Because the content of vol.6 is not suit for a TV series.
And also vol.7 is a first half of the new arc which the game not yet end and will continue in vol.8.
We have to wait for the release vol.8 to get enough source material for SS2(vol.4-5,7-8)

Yeaa Idk maybe MH will make one,however I doubt the pacing matters too much, especially to kadokawa as long as it boosts the sales.

Similar stuff was shown in Madan's OP right? Although unlike Overlord they probably didn't want to end it(or maybe didn't have a good place to end it) before the climax of volume 5 hence the fast pacing.

I doubt Overlord will get one... or NGNL. Isn't it the same-Madhouse hired by kadokawa to do another LN "commercial"?(Like NGNL). We're definitely seeing the boost too, even though the anime feels dumbed down.

Its pretty sad that Rokka no Yusha doesnt get any attention, anime of the season imo. Anyways... happy for overlord.

I'm not going to enter myself in that fan war since I think it's really stupid, but just saying, so far it seemed to me like it's the other way around.

It’s sad when people have to bash series they don’t like to make their series of preference seem better (or for whatever other reasons). Sad world we live in indeed. Then again, this is in the Internet, so what can you expect.

For matter fact, hating, getting upset, and whining about an animated series is jut dumb enough already (no matter what). Waste of time and energy, that’s what it is.

I do agree about ryd stopping for overlord, but 20 min earlier? nah, overlord should air 1 hour episodes instead.

@Paulo, hmmm I get what you mean now. I too haven't noticed any Overlord hate by RnY fans, it's made by MH so that would be damn suicidal knowing how MALers love MH lol. I was mostly hung up on the second part of the sentence.

I just did some quick search on RnY anime & it also airs in prime slot. I thought the boost was because of lack of exposure but that's clearly not the case.

I dont get it. :-x RnY should've had a lil bit of boost after 4 weeks of anime.

Perhaps it just doesnt appeal much to japanese viewers as of right now?

Those NGNL sales are just 2-3 day sales right? Nice going NGNL.

what's with the overlord bashing? Not saying it's good but it's a pretty enjoyable read. Plus the LN has great covers and illustrations so I guess that helps in attracting customers.

RnY's situation is different, the show airs around 2-3 am right? Overlord airs around 11-12 pm on various channels and gets much more exposure. The overlord anime isnt something great (plus it seems low budget looking at the animation) but it's getting marketed much better than RnY.

the boost will continue (just saw on overlord twitter that some volumes are out of stock)

wow. Index vol. 13 still hasn't crossed 100k after 3 weeks. :-( come on Kadokawa, let's get that season 3 out!

They aren't, but I can tell you "Rokka" hasn't been mentioned a single time in Overlord episode discussions threads, Arcanix is just butthurt for some reason.
