That won't happen and you know it. It was selling around 400k per volume when it had an anime and now you are telling me it's going to somehow jump from selling close to 300k per volume to 400k in a year with no anime?

Really don't understand though how. Sells barely 300 and still ranks higher than Bleach. Oh wait, Oda said something about the editors and the rangkings... >.>

Should be at around 400K at year's end.
It's good for now, just need to keep it's wsj rankings up.

Toriko is only selling close to 300kish on average, it isn't going to miraculously jump to 400k unless an anime appears. You're being too optimistic and Toriko's rankings have been falling.

This was the POS (the number here is less than how many POS Oricon covers) rankings for the week of July 6~12, where Vol.1 sales was 10x the amount of sales as of the week of June 29~July 5. We know the total weekly sales of the 5 volumes was not >= 65,049, or then it would've ranked >= Ore Monogatari in the Top 10 Weekly Manga Series:

Here is the estimated weekly sales for a particular weekly POS rank for the July 6~12 week.

Even if Vol.1 sold 10x the previous week, doesn't necessarily mean it would've made the weekly list if it was selling a small amount of copies in the first place. Roughly 11K for Vol.1 for July 6~12, or 1.1K the previous week.

Looking at the daily rankings posted by kuuderes_shadow in the previous post, all volumes look stronger for this week, so they will probably make the weekly list this time.

In the POS rankings volume 1 and 2 first made it into the top 50 manga on 12th, so it's not really any surprise that they didn't appear on the Oricon rankings for that week. However...
