the art is not terrible, it's just different than the usual.

The art in the SnK manga isn't anything to write home about...
Now, if we were talking about the anime, I'd say differently... because it did some incredible stuff with it's animation, and the linework in the anime was really nice looking.

Also, I had no idea Baymax was even adapted into a manga. I wonder how that's doing in Japan...

Wish Kodansha USA would use the money they're making from SnK to bring over some genuinely great series, I'm not asking for Ippo or Diamond no Ace level commitment since that'd be near suicide but Piano no Mori and Chihayafuru would be lovely.

Wait, why would bringing over Hajime no Ippo be suicide? I thought the series is fairly well-known stateside. Also, who doesn't like boxing? I bet it'd sell pretty well. Are you just saying because it's super long and they'd have to dump a bunch of resources into it in order to catch up?

I wonder if it's feasible for US Manga branches to start publishing the most recent volumes as well as starting from Volume 1... Although I guess that's almost like working on two series, though... so it's probably a harder pitch to shareholders and whatnot.

What do you mean "explain to you why SNK is popular" is popular? It's popular because people like it. we just had a thread about this and you were in it.
The art isn't bad either

Since when has terra formars counted as popular? It's funny that you say that it has lots of action, because people have been saying it doesn't have enough action. What do you mean by little plot? Lots of unpopular series are simple too, why aren't they popular?

First of all hes talking about transformers.
Second of all SnK art is bad, just because you can find a few nice panels it does not make the art "good"

Those aren't a "few" nice panels. The art is actually good, maybe you should start reading the manga to know.

I thought he was talking about terra formars, but Transformers has little to no similarities with Attack on Titan.

At least Fairy Tail and Soul Eater are up there so it's not all bad. Nice to see SAO selling well as always.

Same reason Bayformers is so popular, lot of action, little plot and very simple. Easy for the masses to get into.

Little plot?
Yeah, sure.

Funny thing is, he is up to date with the manga but says it has little plot? If he was just a anime only watcher I would have just made it slide since the plot doesn't come into fruition until after where the anime ended.

I'm going to take a guess that this person isn't reading the manga and only has snk in its list to down vote it, which is a pathetic thing to do. No manga reader who is up to date with the manga would dare say the series has little plot. That gave him away.

not surprising to hear from someone who likes highschool dxd, nana to kaoru, and prison school etc etc.
very complex plots with little to no fanservice or boobs in the face at all. shame that snk doesn't have more of that and gets far more shallower later on in the story

Funny how you chose 3 series you haven't read/watched to try and criticise me. Makes sense. I mean you could have chosen One Piece, Ippo, Kiseijuu or any number of series to try and make a point but any way you slice it doesn't matter. Your point is invalid.

Not sure what fan service has to do with it either, care to explain?

I personally find it good. People have different opinions, so obviously there are people who will like the manga art. Apart from that, I don't think the majority reads SNK for its art style ^-^ It's a lot of action, people kill huge monsters, there are badass characters like Levi and Mikasa. And you're overall excited to know what's gonna happen next.
