How does one manages to screw up twice in a row. Reki Kawahara the eriter and supervisor along with Hazuki Tsubasa are here to answer this song.
To write a love story you must put two characters together after some times of iteraction and love. Fights and wholesome moments are welcome too. Kazuto Kirigaya is a needy protagonist and Asuna Yuuki is a baddass deuteragonist. They fell in love in the last arc hencethus have proven to us mere loveplebs what romance truly means to anyone who is an atheist, LGBTQ+ or somoene who has been abused, neglected or misdjured out of their love rights.

turned into a badass in distress. A trop in which a afore kickass levelheaded hero or heroine in this case and even tho Kawahara-sensei did a disgraceful job at female representation, something uncanny, since he gives agency to all of his characters regardless of gender.
The sexual assault scenes were distasteful and unnecessary but fire-focused if you wanna go there.
Hamlet references and read to the tune of Yuki Kajiura's Fairy Land to ensure that this story is a tragedy.
