Glad to see Haikyuu second!!!

Biblia is rank 53 on this week's POS bunko rankings. It needs top 50 in the Oricon bunko rankings to make it into this week's rankings. Certainly not impossible for it to get on there, but rather unlikely.

Incidentally, GA bunko has nothing in the top 50 thanks to them splitting up releases into RE and LE. But they can get in through other rankings like the light novel one.

(NB: "This week" is the week for which the data comes out this week - in other words last week's sales, and the next thread after this one)

Does AssClass gets good later on or something, because now it's just God awful. Terrible.

I hope it does. There hasn't been much to get excited about, so far (at least for me).

What has DVD and BD sales anything to do with people watching the anime?

It's relative. Less people buying generally means less people watching.

No it doesn't! It just means less people is interested in spending a lot of money to have the series in DVD and BD format.

Example:
Ace of Diamond 1st volume reported -> 1,542 DVD+BD and it is mega popular!
HunterxHunter(2011) -> 419 DVD+BD and it was also mega popular!

Also you're just talking of projected sales, and of a weekly Shounen Jump title in a market that his mainly Otaku and Fujoushi centered!

Its projected sales are sub 2k.

Its a pretty big failure. At least on Amazon.

I'd like to point out that I love the anime, personally.

good for AssClass. The anime is fucking epic too ;p

Considering the abysmal sales predictions for Ass Class, its not surprising that it isn't getting much of a boost.

Nobody is even watching it in Japan.

The boost is more likely because of the live action movie.

We don't know that, the movie will be released march 21st i dont get how it got a boost from a movie that didnt get released yet.
