That Nanatsu no Taizai boost and its anime has only just started! I expect the boost to be continual since the series just keeps getting better. Fairy Tail hanging in there!

*2. 56,842 *56,842 Accel World Vol.17
*5. 23,603 *23,603 Eromanga-sensei Vol.3
17. *5,148 193,226 Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Vol.14
18. *4,964 *17,821 Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Love Comedy wo Zenryoku de Jama Shiteiru Vol.9

Fantastic to see these up there, shame Mahouka won't pass 200k before it wonders off the list.

15. *6,006 *10,080 Amagi Brilliant Park Vol.1

Erm is this a mistake or did Amagi Brilliant Park really only sell 4,074 up to now? Just curious as that'd be a hell of a boost!

At least Bleach is still beating Gintama by a good margin :)
*4. 144,821 *,349,980 Bleach Vol.65

Season 2 damnit :(

Nanatsu no Taizai first week boost after anime debut is even bigger than Shingeki no Kyojin first week.

I wonder if Nanatsu no Taizai keep doing well like this constantly. maybe SnK will lost its position as No.1 Kodansha manga to NnT.

Wow, go Haikyu. Nanatsu no Taizai is also showing its presence on that list and I'm happy for that as well. NT volume 11 is doing good too :3 I hope it can maintain that pace.

Now I know the ABP anime projected to be 27.7k is severely overestimated, the LN barely sold 10k, I was expecting far better sales for something so hyped.

Most people are waiting for the anime to come back I guess :(
Anyways it's still in the top 15-20 of manga sales every year with barely any advertisement so it's still good :)

Are you implying that Nanatsu no Taizai can get number 1 position overall. Since snk isn't just #1 not only in Kodansha but overall as well.

I'll have to say, not in a million years.

Because that volume features the Femritters which confirms the japanese fans dont give a flying fuck about them.
Femritters are sales/ranking killers.

Don't say it impossible. imagine if NnT constantly increase 50k everyweek until anime end. 50k x 26 week = 1.3 million. and even if anime end, sale still not stop increasing(imagine if sale still constant increase around 20k-30k everyweek even anime end) it's might have just a little change but I would say it possible(but I think it has just 10% possibility unless it increasing much more than 50k everyweek)

PS. I think One Piece still No.1 manga overall, and I talk about per volume.

Nanatsu no Taizai did came 8th in the tv animation ranking.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-10-13/japan-animation-tv-ranking-september-29-october-5/.79854

I think Nanatsu no Taizai will sell around 2-3 million at the end of this year.

I would say Tokyo ghoul has a better shot of doing it than Nanatsu no Taizai. But I'm probably bias towards Nanatsu no Taizai since I don't really like it.

It's probably the same thing that happened to No Game No Life i.e. Oricon reseted the sales back to 0 for some obscure reason. Back when it was released, it sold 26,820 copies in two weeks.

Kiseijuu and Nanatsu no Taizai got some nice boosts there. I quite expected that.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu sure is getting some high sales there and the anime has not even started yet. I suppose Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu. is going to get an adaptation.

Can anyone tell how many volumes Bleach is ahead of its anime adaptation including this one?

Oh, I did think it was familiar to me. Adaptation to a drama may indeed be a better choice for this one.

Most of the LN chart list this week was released the exact same day as NT Index 11, and therefore has the same number of days of sale.

I think Nanatsu no Taizai will sell around 2-3 million at the end of this year.

I would say Tokyo ghoul has a better shot of doing it than Nanatsu no Taizai. But I'm probably bias towards Nanatsu no Taizai since I don't really like it.

I bet around 4 million this year and 6-7 million next year.

I'm not a fan of Nanatsu no Taizai either. it get my attention just because I want to see new Kodansha manga having hit, especially the one which published in Shonen Magazine like Nanatsu no Taizai.

Now I know the ABP anime projected to be 27.7k is severely overestimated, the LN barely sold 10k, I was expecting far better sales for something so hyped.

It sold over 30k, acteally.

Kiseijuu and NNT had really nice boosts. The top is dominated by sports manga and WSJ titles.

Kinda surprised that Kiseijuu actually had a boos though. The manga is so old that I thought that the anime was just to advertise the two movies and for merch sales. Anyway, Madhouse is doing a great job with it so I'm happy to see that.

Nanatsu no Tazai's boost is phenomenal. If it continues like that, it might reach SNK sales next year though it's highly doubtful. In any case, the year is almost over so I doubt its boost will be sufficient for it to make the top 5 of Oricon's yearly list since they only count copies sold until around the 20th of November.
