Manga 'Big Order' Gets OVA

According to the wraparound band on the 7th volume of Sakae Esuno's manga Big Order, an OVA will be bundled with the 8th volume of the manga which will be released on October 3 in Japan.

This excites me, I'm a bit behind on the manga because updates were inconsistent for a while and I gave up on checking, need to go catch up now.

As for the Mirai Nikki haters.

Wow, I was reading through the comments + the mirai nikki-"hate" and then the OP for Mirai Nikki started playing from my Youtube mix. Anyway, I'm reading this manga and all I can say, it's ok at best.

No...mirai nikki is just bad, as is this manga. Both filled with plot holes, inconsistencies, and characters not using their powers in obvious situations, instead choosing to opt to stare at enemies like goldfish. I dont even want to get started on the pacing...this writer has no idea what transitions are

Both series are far too swept up in being different that it makes the author appear to forget how to fundamentally write stories...felt like a fourth grader was writing out his fantasies...badly.

The start was great but I don't like their designs of the new and the violence is too low I was expecting more of it.

The hell is this? The mangaka didn't even bother to try and differentiate it from Mirai Nikki. The characters are the exact same.

So I just caught up with the manga (at least as far as the translations go), it's not as bad as I originally expected. It's still pretty bad though. Will watch if this become a full t.v. anime since the manga has been mildly entertaining.

I think it's only up to chapter 28 (monthly manga). So it can easily do 1-cour but I don't see them adapting this into a 24 episode anime.

If you are amused by psychotic girls and don't care much for plot or any real character development. Then by all means watch Mirai Nikki. In my opinion it was an entertaining show while it lasted. The last couple of episodes were god awful though.

I really liked what i've read of the manga. Unfortunately, only about the first 20 chapters have been translated to English. I've hoping this eventually gets an anime, but not until the manga is finished, like Mirai Nikki.
