'Yowamushi Pedal' Compilation Movie Announced

Details on the cinematic movie for the TV anime Yowamushi Pedal will be announced on Thursday in the combined 36/37th issue of Shounen Champion magazine. Titled Yowamushi Pedal: Re:RIDE, the movie will compile content from the previously aired Inter High arc along with new scenes.

It will also be announced that the second season of the anime will be titled Yowamushi Pedal: Grande Road. A majority of the cast from the first season will be reprising their roles in the sequel.

This is a fucking cashgrab and yet I'm all hyped for it, mostly because I missed my Sohoku boys.

The first half of the Inter-High arc, meaning from 22 to 38? Ehh. Inter-high had alright pacement in my eyes, Training Camp had the worst pacement however. So I'm not sure about it.

Too bad the movie won't be subbed before the 2nd season starts, which makes a recap movie kinda pointless. I'll still watch though for the epic cycling action.
