'Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls' Gets TV Anime [Update 4/6]

It was announced during the "Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls 1st Live Wonderful M@gic!!" event that the social networking game Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls will get a TV anime for Winter 2015. A few staff members have been announced, and a new key visual will be released each month.

Only way I could see it happening is to focus on idols as units, like the NG trio, Triad Primus, Jougasaki Sisters, etc. rather than individuals, where possible. That way they can squeeze in characters as couples and triplets instead of individuals.

It means that ousdie of a core group of say: NG and a few others, will lack development, but you could fit more in that way.

I'm cautiously optimistic here. I mean, there are such a large number of characters already that even sticking all of them in as easter eggs could be tough to accomplish. It then boils down to which ones get how much screen time. Still, many of those I'd like to see showed up in the PV.

It was just a rehash of the animated PV from November. Momoka's appearance doesn't mean much at all, to be honest.

Looks like Futaba Anzu got skipped as a main character despite being one of the most popular Cinderella girls. This is all because they botched her single I bet. Whoever composed it should shot as he ruined her career. I was hoping her VA's sudden surge of massive popularity would be able to counter that but I guess not.

Not even worth watching this now.
