Canadian New Singer HIMEKA Sings Valkyria Theme Song

A Canadian new face singer HIMEKA (Catherine St Onge) will sing the theme song of "Valkyria Chronicles". She won the grand prize in Japan Anime Song Audition last September.

She is from Quebec.
And she called herself HIMEKA because that's what she was known as online for the longest time, and some other personal reasons she mentioned in her blog... but she wasn't doing it to try and be Japanese.

She will be selling records in Japan in the thousands if the intro is as good as I expect it to be. Saying "Catherine St-Onge", let alone "Catherine", in Japanese is a lot harder than saying "HIMEKA."

Catherine is a beautiful name. I see more cons than pros in changing it into something else that appears Japanese. She should've stuck with her real one.

EDIT: WAIT a minute, I think I may have seen her in the Montreal anime convention two years ago... It was in the open karaoke and I remember a girl that looks like her sang really well....
