This has the potential to be either genuinely interesting, or nothing but tasteless, crude, gore fanservice.

I seriously hope it's the former.

Check please lol

Vagabond was a novel, not a light novel. Big difference.

Not really.

I'm pretty sure most novels don't come with illustrations inside.

All you Need is Kill doesn't have any illustrations inside. Neither does Slum Online (another novel by the same author) yet they are classed as light novels.

The Lord of the Sands of Time is the same length and is published (in English) by the same company and also doesn't have any illustrations inside yet it was rejected from MAL's database because apparently it's a "written novel" and not a light novel.

It's only 4 chapters long, well since they're DN and Hikaru authors this still should be good.

It's a "mini" series.

Cool. I have the light novel sitting on my shelf. Guess this is extra incentive to get round to reading it.

Vagabond was a adaptation of a light novel as well and it was awesome. I hope the same goes for this upcoming manga. I can't wait!

I can't wait to read it. The novel was quite good.

The LN was okay. I don't really see a reason for a manga unless the art (design) is by ABe but I doubt it.

Will be keeping my eye out for this, thanks!

Interesting that the LN now has a manga adaptation but no anime adaptation.

Bring back the Ohba Obata combi!

This sounds good, I'll read the Light Novel and I'll be hoping for an anime adaptation.
