'Gatchaman Crowds' Second Season Announced

It has been announced that a second season of "Gatchaman Crowds," titled "Gatchaman Crowds Second," has been green-lit. Details of staff and airing schedule have not yet been given.

It was also announced that the BD/DVD box of the first season will include unaired scenes along with information about NOTE, the main antagonist of the series. The release date for the DB/DVD is scheduled for January 22, 2014.

The first season aired this past summer with a total of 13 episodes.

Well, I'm kinda happy knowing that not only me who think that.

That being said, I'm still gonna watch it. I'm not quite satisfied with the ending.

Those who wanted some explanation of the last episode will be glad to know that the BD box will come with the "full ending." Basically they're going to put back the footage that was removed from the broadcast.

Just read from forums that most of the staff, including top one like the Chief Animation Director, also knew the decision of a 2nd season only on Friday....

Good news. No wonder the ending was a bit unsatisfactory. I guess they'll explain it in detail in the second season.
