An anime video streaming website "Toonami Jetstream" ended its service on January 29th. The website was founded by Cartoon Network (CN) and VIZ Media in 2006. The streaming of "Naruto" will be transferred to CN video. "MAR" and "Blue Dragon" will be transferred to VIZ Media website.

CN has been cutting down Japanese animations recently. The airing block for anime "Toonami" was closed last year.

I didn't really watch the new Jetstream mainly because every time I tuned in it was a good anime with horrible dubs. But I will forever miss the old Toonami lineups with Outlaw Star, Gundam, Rurouni Kenshin, Dragon Ball etc...

That's a shame, considering I was using it to watch Kiba. Oh well, I saw it coming after Toonami went off the air.

Same here :/

Someone on ANN told me to buy the DVDs when they come out. So glad everyone thinks people are made of money these days. >_<

Why buy the DVDs when you can download the Dual Audio MKV DVD Rips of the DVDs for free? Makes no sense to me to buy sumthin when you can get it for free.

Not trying to turn this into a fansub vs. official release thread, but why ask this? Legality and supporting the people that made the series of course.

I know that, but still, why waste your money?

Anyways, this is my last reply to this convo here, kthnxbai.

And thus dies anything that was left of Toonami...Well, thanks for killing my childhood CN. Good job, good job... :-(

Who actually listens to whatever the ANN forumites has to say about legal issues in owning anime anyway? Just because they think they have a superior ethical system...

Positive Note: Long live Toonami!

Completely ignored it anyway. Though I suppose it did have a good model for streaming dubbed anime. Too bad, its just more proof that anime is dead on Cartoon Network. I'm almost amazed they still show any of it on CN/Adult Swim anymore.

Naruto airs at 9:30 P.M. Saturday evenings, Bleach airs at 1:00 A.M. Sunday early mornings, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 airs at 1:30 A.M. Sunday Early Mornings, and Crayon Shin Chan airs at 2:00 A.M. Sunday Early Mornings.

I dunno what airs afterward, since I stop watching and caring after Crayon Shin Chan ends.

Hahah. And now all they do is play the same 5 movies every week in Toonami's old spot. So stupid. -_-

There's actually a new episode of Naruto that airs every saturday evening at 9:30 P.M.

If Toonami would've stuck to awesome shows like Samurai Jack and the old anime classics they had then maybe they wouldn't have cancelled. :(

I mean, they don't even have a replacement for the block; they just randomly show whatever they want...

Honestly, after the creation of the second version of Tom (first time they changed Toonami), I gave up caring for it. It just aired what the mass kiddy audience wanted and didn't explore the underrated anime and air those shows instead.
It's about time it ended.

Shame for everyone who used it.
I miss Toonami. >:

Bummer, I watched Kiba and an occasional episode of Samurai Jack there, now that's gone.

Could it really have cost more money than it was taking in?

It f*cked everyone anyways. :s I missed soo many episodes of Prince of Tennis, MAR, and Hikaru no Go cause of shitty them. >.>

The reason why the anime are leaving is cause you're giving them shitty gay shows at your channel that they think that is better. >,< NOT. give them epic kids show and they'll like it.
