I can only speak in terms of having watched the anime, but the answer depends on your particular tastes.

If various styles of comedy (including some crude), mixed together with an absurd (yet brilliant) setting and cast of characters, as well as the occasional shift from absolutely hilarious to dead-ass serious sounds appealing to you, then yes. Definitely yes.

You're entitled to your own opinion, but at least respect others as well. This "Their opinion doesn't match mine, therefore their whole country has poor taste" bullshit is arrogance in its finest form.

I don't want an argument, just wanted to voice my opinion. Whether Naruto deserves praise or not is irrelevant, but the fact that you think your opinion is much more higher than others is ridiculous.

Regarding Nisekoi, people should remember that even though it's #5 on the charts, it only sold about as much as it did for it's last volume and the volume before that. Sales have not increased much for it in recent volumes. Just saying. Heck, there have been times when a manga could be #1 on the charts and only sell about 200k.

After watching episode 329 of shippuden I just accepted that people who call Naruto bad are simply too biased due to it's popularity and success.

Japanese might have bad taste but Naruto also tops the Graphic Novel charts(which include other graphic novels besides Manga like The Walking Dead) in US also.

As alanwake said. Honestly, those who said "xxx has bad taste" is just being self-important -- thinking he alone has good taste. And saying "Japan as bad taste" even carries a whiff of cultural supremacy mindset - thinking people from a foreign culture must have inferior taste, even though the product being commented on is mainly produced by that culture for the people brought up in that culture. Worse, it even ignored the fact that the "bad taste" is not limited to that foreign (Japanese) culture but a lot of people from his own culture too.
