Wow, this is great.

What would be even greater is if somewhere down the road they make a new anime adaption. Scrap the one they did in 2008, completely redo it from the start. Make it a 110 episode OVA series that airs over the course of 10 years and it'd be golden.

I see what you did there.

Wait a second... Tytania volume 4? Whaaat?
Volume 3 was released in 1991 and the guy stopped writing it, what is this volume 4?
Because the guy (whose name is Tanaka Yoshiki) decided to continue after >20 years of break. He now says that after he finishes with the Hero Legend of Arslan, he would proceed to write the vol.5 of Tytania.

Is this the greatest hiatus ever in the anime/manga scene?!

*7, *14,321 *14,321 Kuruneko Vol.12 - Special Edition

Am I the only one who thought this has something to do with Oreimo at first? xD

Still waiting for the next 2 weekly rankings to see if Machine Doll's anime and the Mahouka announcement would give them a significant boost.
Kuroneko is a bit of a stray cat too, isn't she? I'd adopt her!

Me too on Machine Doll and I'm hoping NouCome will finally rank as well.

And Kokoro Connect Precious Time... though as the final novel I say with sadness that the time for season 2 has come and gone :'(

Strong showing from many different series. The list would look quite different with the absence of Shingeki no Kyojin.
You're right, SnK has really made the manga top 50 a top 40 for the past year.

Good for Chihayafuru! Some josei on the list, even if it often feels like shoujo.

And go Machine Doll!

And new Guyver live action when? LOL, used to love those movies.

Date a Live vol 8 doing well. It's only about a thousand sales lower than volume 7's final figure, and still going strong.

Glad to see all those shoujo series doing well especially Hirunaka no Ryuusei :)

Is it still just a bunch of old dudes discussing thing without much happening? I mean, I enjoy LoGH but Tytania was just dismally boring.
How many volumes did you go? To be honest, I found LoGH slow-going already so I never bothered checking Tytania.... Tanaka is an old-style writer, meticulous in details and setting for plot. I can see how some love this style though not sure if it is for me...
