Light Novel Seiken no Blacksmith To Be Animated

A new anime based on a light novel "Seiken no Blacksmith -The Sacred Blacksmith-" was announced in the cover note of the novel.
The novel also gets a manga adaptation and it will start publication in Comic Alive on March 27th. The author of the art is Yamada Koutarou.

Synopsis: Once upon a time, there was a tragic war, in which the power of the devils was involved. After the war, the devils' power was banned and the world was restored to peace. Cecily Campbell is a knight, who has been looking for a blacksmith to repair her old sword given by her father. One day, she saw a man fighting with a ruffian who used the tabooed devil's power. The man defeated him with one blow of his weirdly shaped sword. The man turned out to be a blacksmith called Luke. The fateful encounter was the beginning of the adventure.

i liked the synopsis but the cover turned me down..

lol...

hopefully this is not another fanservice infested series (at least not heavily fanservice oriented and actually have a more decent plot) The sypnosis sounds a bit cliche...but oh well...let's wait for the series to come out before judging it...

The synopsis gets a "meh..." from me. Nothing special about it and the character design just looks like they slapped on a bunch of stuff together. We got some kind of mini skirt, a cape, breast plate and tiara. Just looks like a more impractical version of the Claymore outfit. ^_^
