According to the website of publisher Fujimishobo, light novel "Hitsugi no Chaika" will get an anime adaptation. No other information has been disclosed yet, although Fujimishobo announced earlier in May that there will be "important news" about the light novel in the coming September issue of "Dragon Magazine," which will come out on July 20th. More details may come out by then.

The light novel started in 2010 and 6 volumes have been published so far (volume 7 will come out on July 20th). It also has had a manga adaptation since 2011 and 3 volumes of that manga have been published. The author, Sasaki Ichirou, also writes the light novel "Outbreak Company" and a TV anime series adaptation of it will start to air this October.

Haven't read this yet, and I don't think it's interesting enough? But I guess I'll give it a try if the anime comes out.

Nice key visual I didn't know Bones was doing this. If it's set fore inter we could have 3 Bones shows in one season.

i dont know i feel kind of iffy about this, it doesnt seem like something bones would normally pick up, then again thats why im kind of hyped for it cause bones picked it up, they usually know their shit.

Hmmm very interesting. Synopsis doesn't reveal much information though. I have a question about the term "loli" though. I thought that usually referred to very young looking/short girls. Am I mistaken? Neither of the main girls seems to fit the definition of what I thought was a loli, so maybe my definition was wrong. But when I think loli, I think more along the lines of Victorique from Gosick...

Dropped it on the first chapter, so much (male)fanservices (not boobies/panty flashes), but will try out the anime. It might works better as an anime.

Synopsis doesn't really interest me. But hey OreGairu's synopsis didn't interest me either and look at how great that turned out to be.

Don't think this will exceed what you're expecting.

lol, "chaika" means "gull" in Russian. i just love how they pick random words from foreign languages to name main characters. let's all hope they will stay true to the roots and make the girl look like this:

or this:

...and Trabant as well.

2 series from same author airing in the same season what are the odds. Seems like it has the potential to be fun like Date A Live.
