[b]Uchuu Kyoudai (Movie)[/b]
Information on the upcoming movie has been released. The movie will premiere August 9, 2014. It will be a prequel to the TV anime series and will be titled Uchuu Kyoudai #0 (Number Zero). The mangaka also added that the movie will revolve around the "origin of the dream."

Amagi Brilliant Park
It has been announced that the series will receive a manga adaptation based on the light novel series. The series will begin in the March issue Dragon magazine which will be released on February 8, 2014. The new manga comes after a new TV anime adaptation for the series which was announced earlier this year.

Industry News

Katsuhiro Otomo and Hayao Miyazaki Win Awards

Katsuhiro Otomo, the famous anime and manga creator, was awarded the Winsor McCay Award for Lifetime Achievement at the 41st Annual Annie Awards held on Saturday.

Director Hayao Miyazaki was awarded with the Annie Award for Writing in an Animated Feature Production. He received the award for his work on Kaze Tachinu.

Oh good. There's now a chance that Mayumi can be voiced by a different person. I would even prefer it if Nakahara Mai would be Mayumi as I really don't think KanaHana fits her. As much as I know how large her voice range is, I don't think she can do and had done an onee-san type character which is what Mayumi's voice should be.
I'm satisfied nevertheless for Mari, Juumonji and Hanzo's.

UPDATE:

Regarding the additional cast for Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei I removed 3 of the roles on the list. The 3 being:

Mayumi Saegusa: Kana Hanazawa
Suzune Ichihara: Mai Nakahara
Azusa Nakajou: Saki Okasawara

This is not to say that they are 100% not going to be voicing those roles, but I'm not as confident in the source as I was. The 3 cast that I kept in my original post are announced on the official site for the series which you can find here where the others are not as of right now. In the future that could change and if it does I will update this thread again.

Didn't mix them up. Someone pm'd me about this CM and I know I typed it in, but I was in class and I guess I didn't remember to hit the edit button. It is 100% there now haha

HanaKana has done quite a variety of roles, so yeah, she might surprise you. Obviously she does the cute girly girls really well, but she has done some interesting roles (e.g. Fuwa Aika, Rana Linchen, Tsunemori Akane). So yeah, I think she has range.

Hattori's full name is Hattori Gyobushoujou Hanzo(yes that Hattori Hanzo). The kanji in the Yaraon source has 範蔵 which is Hanzo.
