 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Sakaku Hishikawa's Isshun de Chiryou shiteita noni Yakutatazu to Tsuihou sareta Tensai Chiyushi, Yami Healer toshite Tanoshiku Ikiru (The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows) light novel revealed the main cast, production staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere April 2025.Cast Zenos: Shougo Sakata (Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata) Lily: Miharu Hanai (Isekai Yururi Kikou: Kosodateshinagara Boukensha Shimasu) Carmilla: Youko Hikasa (High School DxD) Staff Director: Jou Yoshizaki (Chiikawa episode director) Script: Daishou Miyagi Character Design: Denpuougi, Yoshihiro Sawada Art Director: Hiroshi Gouroku (Isekai Shoukan wa Nidome desu) Color Design: Moe Kawada Director of Photography: Kouhei Tanada (Arknights: Reimei Zensou) Sound Director: Hiroto Morishita (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) Music: Harumi Fuuki (Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei) Studio: Makaria Hishikawa began writing the adventure fantasy series, also known by its short title Yami Healer, on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2020. SB Creative began printing the novel under its GA Novel label the following October, featuring illustrations by Daburyuu. The sixth volume shipped on March 15, with the seventh volume going on sale on November 15. Yami Healer has a cumulative 200,000 copies of its volumes in print. A manga adaptation by Ten Junoichi launched on the GA Comic website in January 2022. The third volume went on sale on March 15, with the fourth volume also planned for a November 15 release. J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation for digital release in English in September 2023 and published the second manga volume on March 20 and the fourth novel volume on September 13.
