'Hitsugi no Chaika' Gets 2nd Season for Fall

According to the official Twitter account for Hitsugi no Chaika, an announcement has been made that the series will be receiving a second season that will air Fall 2014. More information on the second season will come at a later date.

The first season began this past April and is still currently airing.

Well, colour me not exited at all. First season seems very average so far, so I don't really see the appeal. We will see though, I guess. Twelve episodes do not seem to cut it, so it will not be a bad thing.

I just wish they could've focused more on character development on more than just Toru and a little of Chaika in season 1, knowing they'd have an extra. I feel like it should be much better than it is. Still loving those Toru x Akari incest moments ;)

The anime is decently fun, and 12 episodes would just not be enough. So it's good that there will be a second season.

WE (everyone in the computer lab at school I am reading this laughed) laughed at this. It is very painful trying to put together sentences. I guess they were going for extremely moe and failed? I was really excited for this season and was kind of disapointed... oh well :P

Well it was explained that she's foreign, but moe was probably more than likely their goal. I don't mind too much though. It's better than most of the other shows this season, and if it manages to surprise me, I'll even give it a good final rating.

Except for the presence of a loli and action, it actually shares very little similarities with Hidan no Aria. One has gun fights in a high school kind of setting. The other is a magical fantasy world kind of setting. Harem is strong in one while the harem is only subtle in the other, if at all.

Two siblings are trained for war. War is over. Brother loses motivation. Wizard girl appears. She hires them. Siblings fight for girl.

i haven't watched it yet...how does D story follow actually..?
when i first saw D seiyuu list , i saw majima junji one D seiyuu , i thought it gonna be like hidan of aria..
care to give some some explanation anyone?

I probably just haven't noticed it... The first season does seem to be rushed though. They rushed so hard, they couldn't come up with lines for Chaika! That was my attempt at an anime joke. Hope u laughed. :P
