New OVA of 'Maken-ki!' Announced to be Released Sep 30 2013

According to the official website, a new Maken-Ki! OVA of "Maken-Ki!" will be released on September 30th. It will be bundled with the limited edition of volume 11 of the "Maken-Ki!" manga. It is billed as Episode 0 of the new season "Maken-Ki! Two" and will be named "Takeru Nyotaika?! Minami no Shima desu po~n❤' (Takeru becoming a Girl?! This is the Southern Island❤)

well i watched the first season so might as well stick for the second one but hopefully it will be much better.

OAD is a way of marketing too since it is bundled with a limited edition of the manga. Cost is much easier to recoup this way because there is no cost associated with any broadcast and it does not need the usual extras for a regular BD/DVD.

I prefer the original because their face also don't look off like Xeces did with Upotte and the rest of the shows.

It is pretty confusing since the announcement said "this winter" and one report in a Japan news site (not blog) states that it is "winter 2013".

I see. I'm sorry, I just saw the news on animate.tv and just wanted to mention about it since it wasn't mentioned here (didn't know it was mentioned elsewhere). I don't follow the series, though. It seems like it's this upcoming winter, which means Winter 2014 (at least that's what I guessed, and just read it again and yeah it was confusing.

Didn't like the show at all but I like full figured women, so I'll probably be watching it.
