According to the official website, Persona 3 the Movie #1 Spring of Birth was announced to be premiered this autumn.

Hoping that BD volume come out near after the movie's release time frame. Persona's like one of the biggest Japanese media franchise, so I'm expecting subs with that also.

Really looking forward to the movie. I always enjoyed watching the animation in the game, even though it was PRETTY bad to be honest, but the trailer kinda proves that the film is gonna be awesome.

Hope I could go to Japan just to watch it this Autumn, even though I'd understand nothing. Now I'll have to wait till they release it in DVD and someone decides to sub it T_T

FINALLY!!!

But I wonder how Orpheus and the ability to call forth multiple personas will take place.
I'm guessing that he'll have one per Arcana although I doubt the movie would be long enough to handle it.

Just completed Persona 3: The Journey yesterday.
That PV animation looks amazing and I can't wait to see the movie(s?)... though I'm kinda disappointed that he's not Arisato Minato.

Yes.

They are related. Persona 4 takes place a couple of years after Persona 3 but in a different town. The characters in P4 actually visit the city where P3 takes place at one point in the anime. Also characters from P3 are a part of the storyline in P4 Arena.

What about Persona: Trinity Soul ? Should I watch this before persona 4 & 3 ?

Dude you can watch them separately. Other than a few cameos you really won't miss anything. So don't worry about anything and start with any one of them. Persona 3 is not exactly a prequel to Persona 4 and Trinity Soul is completely separate from Persona 3.

^Also P4 and P3 are completely different in the mood and genre.

P4 is more mainstream murder mystery with some supernatural elements, while P3 is more of a mix of contemporary scifi and gothic horror, with a good dose of mindfuck.

P4 Arena on other hand has quite a few P3 characters involved(possibly as peace offering from game developers to angered P3 fanbase, because Why else those characters would have gotten the highest and best point in the op vid?)

Trinity Soul is not "completely" separate, it has some appearances from certain P3 characters and passing mentions to P3 events.
