Manga DOGS To Be Animated [Updated on Dec 9]

According to the official information web page of Monthly Ultra Jump magazine, Miwa Shirow's manga "Dogs: Bullets & Carnage" will be animated.

"DOGS/BULLETS&CARNAGE" was originally published as a short series "Dogs" in 2001. It was resumed publication with the new the title in 2005 and the Tankoubon have been published up to volume 3.

The new DOGS anime was confirmed to be a two-volume series of OAD bundled with the manga volume 4 and a new edition of the oneshot short story "DOGS". The first volume will be released on May 19th, 2009 and the second one will be released on
July 17th, 2009. The length of the first episode will be about 30 min.

Release Dates
First volume: May 19th, 2009 (subtitles: "Weepy old killer" and "Gun Smoker", 30 min)
Second volume: July 17th, 2009

Yeah, isn't she the mute girl? In the manga, the best she can do is some sort of choking sound.

Considering the small number of the manga episodes published so far, this will be an OVA. I'm not sure how well david production can perform as an original contractor for the first time.

Not sure what the anime is about, except that it takes place somewhere in Europe and the story is relevant to both genetic engineering and the underworld.

The seiyuu cast on the other hand is pretty good:
