Light Novel 'Strike the Blood' To Be Animated

According to Dengeki Online, Mikumo Gakuto's light novel "Strike the Blood" was announced to get an anime adaptation. It will be aired or released this year.

Apparently this series will have 24 episodes. Would be interesting if it is indeed the case.

Ugh... This is from the same author as Dantalian no shoka? I don't expect anything about this anymore.
BEing from the same author in this case is clearly not a good news.
I think I'll pass on this one , except if I see lots of good reviews about it.

This sounds like it could arguably be decent(despite cliched premise and vampires)

Director is decent, although working on FSN/UBW movie is a huge black mark against him.
