KyoAni's MUNTO To Be a TV Anime [Updated on Dec 10]

According to New Type magazine, Kyoto Animation's original anime Munto will be aired as a TV animation titled "Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai". The series will be composed of the first and second OVA and some new episodes. It will be aired from the early spring 2009.

Opinion does not equal fact. Lucky Star enjoys it's sucess. You're obviously not part of it's sucess. Of course, if you detest Lucky Star then you are entitled to get a bad feeling from the cast. It's all your personal opinion.

Lucky Star isn't doing its job? And its a fact you think? omg... man, I guess you are toooootally wrong. Lucky Star is popular. Same voice actors will not make Munto worse.

If I'm pessimistic towards something, it's Lucky Star here not Munto, as you can see from my quote from first page.

I may be weird with that opinion, but that doesn't change the fact that Lucky Star just isn't doing its job. There is _high_ possibility, that Munto tv -series will be superior to Lucky Star in every aspect you can possibly think of.

The saying goes to strike the iron while it's hot right? When are they going to follow up on their success? When it's been 4-6 years and the fans have moved on to new things? Especially in Haruhi's case. They're hoping the novels and 12(!) episodes will hold people over until they bother to throw them a bone? And meanwhile they give series like Clannad an inmediate second season. Nothing against the latter series, but I don't get their business decisions, especially their marketing decisions.

Y'know, I don't know why everyone is foaming for a new season for both Haruhi and FMP. Both of them ran in 2006, which wasn't that long ago. Not to mention that when they do one project at a time, that means quality will be maintained. Who cares that KyoAni do something that isn't Clannad-esque or Lucky Star-esque that also happens not to be Haruhi or FMP. In other words, something a little different.
