Animation studio Silver Link has announced on the official website that a TV anime of manga Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya will be aired in the fiscal year of 2013.

Its a multiverse. And we already know that at least some of versions of FSN characters live in magical girl verse. hell for all we know in some universe, they are all cats, which is fine route too.

You should. far too many un-enlightened people out there who would jump to the flash-animated mess that was FSN anime instead, without even factoring the VNs.

It is a bit of old news (as it came out on May 27th), but there will be a OVA bundled with the Limited Edition of volume 4 of the manga, to be released on Jan 25 next year (2014). It will be the unaired episode 11 of the TV series.

The first series is enough for a 1-cour run. And animating the second series is kind of a bad idea as it directly leads to the third series which isn't finished yet. I won't survive that cliffhanger of 2wei.

Plus sources I found say that this is only 10 episodes(5 BD volumes with 2 eps each) + 2 episodes included in the BD. Meaning only 12 episodes which is again enough for just the first series.

Then again, I saw

in the credits of PV2.

They can always pull an original ending before

End it in a happy go lucky ep, then in season 2 start with the final part of 2wei and continue into 3rei.
It is a mahou shoujo series after all.
