TV Anime of Manga 'Uta Koi.' Announced

According to the official website, Sugita Kei's manga "Uta Koi." was announced to get a TV anime adaptation. It will be aired this summer.

"Uta Koi." is a historical romance story based on the manga author's unique interpretations of Japanese old poetry "Hyakunin Isshu".

Perhaps people confused it with Koi Uta, which is a yaoi by a different mangaka.

I find it ironic that this comes after Chihayafuru o.o Karuta and all o.o

Anyway. Historical + josei = will watch. Although I was extremely disappointed with Genji Monogatari Sennenki... we'll see.

me: CHIHAYAFURU!!! jkjk. There's probably no relation to that series except for the hundred poems. :(

The website picture looks likes two guys, BUT if you watch the PV then you realize one's a girl (I think).

I will watch because I fell in love with the PV music on the first note. XD

I'm glad it isn't BL, looks great! I miss historical japanese anime (no no, sengoku parody stuff doesn't count)!

But I wonder if the art will be the same as the pv 2 :S
