Considering the major coup Sentai just scored with licensing the second season of K-On!, they may try their hands at snapping up more properties formerly associated with Bandai Entertainment, like Code Geass. Bonus points for Sentai if, like K-On!, they recruit the original English actors for the dub as well.
Bandai still has rights to both seasons so whenever those expire Sentai could get them. Also this OVA will be subbed for both DVD and Bluray release plus its not that expensive so I doubt Sunrise will let anyone license it for an R1 release since there is really no point.
As for Akito I hope Sentai does get it cause I would hate paying $60~$80 for one episode if its going to be more than one episode to the series/OVA.

Still, this seems like one of those stupid filler eps ya throw inbetween arcs rather than an OVA. Oh, well, I'll take it. :D

just wondering
No its just another special that is just there to make Sunrise/Bandai more money.
They should really animate Code Geass: Queens and Knights into short 5 minute episodes.
