However long it takes for theatrical releases to be put out. So probably a couple more months.

Also this OVA isn't seasonal next episode is coming out Spring 2013.

It's not that bad. I just hope the ending doesn't suck.

Better than nothing I guess. o:

Only 4? I was hoping some 12-26 episode long. But still 50 minute is not bad. Let see 50 divided 25 equal 2 episodes, 4 X 2 = 8 episode total. Well, I can say it worth my time.

I was excited when a new code geass was in production but I was a bit dissapointed when they are doing OVA instead of TV series and I think its too short

Looking forward to this, if I recall correctly, the European theatre was apparently a lot more intense than the stuff happening over in Japan. Also, it sounds very 08th MS Teamish.

First episode of the OVA has been dated

CR news said:
Last week, composer Ichiko Hashimoto revealed that Code Geass side story Akito the Exiled will be a four-episode Gundam UC style OVA release, with its 50-minute episodes screened in limited theatrical runs before coming out on Blu-ray on a quarterly schedule starting this summer.

The time frame for the first has now been set for August 4.

It is going to be short and Taniguchi Goro isn't going to take charge of the project so I don't know what expect. I hope it'll be good.

Not too bad. If they're only releasing once every three months, I'll be expecting some top quality material from this as far as animation and overall production.

Awww i was really hoping for something more :( like a real series?! but i guess this is better then nothing....But the waiting is gona be agonzing. I understand that they dont really have much material to work with but i have a lil hope that this goes well enough to be turn into a series:/ oh well here comes the loonngg unbearble wait...

This is somewhat disappointing. Episodes are twice as long but they come every 3 months instead of every week. Not only that but it's only 4 eps. Whatever. I'm still watching if it's Code Geass/
