Theme Song Musician of Hyouge Mono Arrested for Possessing Marijuana

According to Yomiuri Online, the Fukuoka Prefectural Police has arrested the guitarist Kosuga Tsuyoshi for possession of marijuana. Kosuga is one of the members of the music band CRO-MAGNON, who composed the theme songs of Hyouge Mono. Kosuge visited a convenience store in the morning of April 30th and left two pieces of marijuana in a plastic bag. Police arrested him when he visited the store again in the afternoon. He deposed that he obtained the marijuana at a live session he performed at.

Update May 2nd
According to Natalie, CRO-MAGNON was announced to be disbanded. Their tie-up CD with Hyouge Mono will be canceled.

Except that the manga-ka has left the anime's production team since then, so the anime is now likely to jump the shark and reduces it's chances of it ever being fully subbed.

Those aren't the leaves Hyouge Mono had in mind XD. Nonetheless it's sad that pot ended up both getting the guitarist arrested and breaking up the band. That was a cool OP Hyouge Mono had

You should see China, there was video of children that looked around 4-5 smoking. It also led to a poorly enforced smoking ban in China.

One of the things I am not so fond of about Japanese culture is how fascist they are about fairly harmless drugs like this one.

THC is more safe than alcohol. And yeah it's not so great for you if you smoke it. But smoking anything isn't good for you. And yet Japan has a huge smoking and drinking problem. The least they could do is go easy on a poor plant. But no...

I bet he got the drugs from a European, I always hear stories about European tourists getting into trouble over drugs in Asia, it's worse in Singapore though since drug possession=execution.
