Aniplex Launches Original Anime Project Anohana

Aniplex has launched a teaser website of their original anime project "Anohana". The production studio is A-1 Pictures and the name of the original creator(s) is "Cho Heiwa Busters (super peace busters)".

The title logo is a crossword puzzle. If you enter the correct hiragana into all the blanks, you'll obtain the information of the new anime. Hints of the puzzle will be displayed at Animate and Gamers shops.

In the previous original anime project of Aniplex "Anime no Chikara", they cooperated with TV Tokyo. In Anohana project, Fuji Television is the partner TV company.

Update
The correct answer of the crossword puzzle is "あの日見た　花の名前を　僕達はまだ　知らない。(We don't know the name of the flower we saw on that day yet.)" Information of the new anime will be announced after the final episode of Shiki to be aired on December 30th.

Oh, this looks bad. Except for Mushishi and Shigofumi this guy worked only on some really bad/mediocre series. Now I'm not sure about watching it.

Wait...what!? Where'd you hear this? Is this true? She does NOT sound like Kugimiya at all.

It was a joke that I made when I noted that all the staff came from Toradora.

I doubt they would put a generic tsundere on the noitaminA time slot, even if I do think they are trying to make it more accessible after the failure of some of the less mainstream stuff that aired on it (especially Saraiya Goyou).

Could be a cool drama. I hope to see different story's for different couple's. Could be possible...

But something says to me it's about a childhood friend group who is gotten older and talk about their childhood while seeing them change in their puberty or something like that xD.

Well.. it gave me that vibe. Me no speak Japanese so ^^

Well, I'm in good hopes - the mixture of Toradora! team and NoitaminA timeslot could create a really interesting story. I really doubt this will end up being a generic story, there still has to be some reason to justify the timeslot. And simple characterdesigns or cheesy title do not equal bad anime, so I'm keeping an open mind ^_^

Yamamoto Yutaka has his own studio (Ordet) now, remember? If this is a solo A-1 project, he won't be working on it. Fractale is a collaboration between A-1 and Ordet, hence why Yukata is involved with that.

Ordet was already around by the time he was directing Kannagi for A-1. So I don't see why they can't ask him to direct another show for them.

Lol, that will never, ever happen. Yamakan said that Fractale will be his last work as an anime director if it fails. Thus, it is impossible for him to direct another.
