I love steins;gate, but I've seen it enough times that I have some nitpicks: - the ending is a cluster fuck of theories, potential plot holes and explanations that you will only be able to get into after you have AT LEAST seen the show like 4-5 times. Frankly, it's something that you only get to know once you are obsessed enough to start theorizing and researching about the ins and outs of how the time travel exactly works. - the plot point of Faris getting chased by card game fans is extremely stupid, and while it is SOOOOO MUCH better in the anime due to them cutting out 99% of it, it's still a low point. but again, in the anime it barely exists, so it's only a notable problem in the VN. - the scene with okabe groping Ruka makes him look extremely stupid, like best case scenario, he would be grabbing a dude by the balls, it was a lose or lose harder situation. - This isn't really even a problem with the show, but I think Moeka's neighbour is so stupid. Like she would obviously misunderstand the situation, but any sane human would misunderstand it as rape, not "a couple going at it with the door open". But this like a nit pick among nit picks, I actually could not care less about it |

Zarutaku said: Mushoku 2nd season should have continued to make unique and uninterrupted opening sequences for every episode. Highly agree. I would also add that season 2 had a substantial drop in production quality overall. If the studio was truly solely created to adapt MT then they should've made sure the core staff wouldn't change after every season to prevent this. |

Inuyasha: The fact that it ended, while not still preserving all the current episodes, emotional highs and payoffs which exist in our present timeline, while going beyond that into an infinite denouement of 100,000+ episodes and counting. Non-cop-out answer: 1.) The series is divided roughly into two distinct animation styles, which forces an awkward transitional point midway through as one visually adjusts and a sense of mild to moderate incongruence reconciling the two halves. Episodes 1 - 98 are in traditional handpainted cel animation and the remainder of the series, from episode 99 - 193, is in digital animation, in line with a lot of other series around the early 2000s (the switch in Inuyasha came in 2003) when the anime industry was transitioning to digital (except some series around the same timeframe - especially shorter ones - fully fell into one camp or the other). If I were to choose I definitely prefer the original handpainted cel style and look, and I wish the series had it throughout and was uniform in this way. 2.) Koga and Shippo are my least favorite characters and ones I frequently find annoying and grating (almost always in the case of the former; sometimes for the latter), so that is one thing when they're in the mix balanced with other characters including all the mains, but the few episodes which inordinately focus and center on them are easily my least favorite episodes of the series and the only ones I'm tempted to skip upon rewatch. I'd rather see most of their centric episodes replaced with anything involving the main duo, the modern world, or any other subplot. 3.) Compared to the pacing of the first 167 episodes, which, to generalize, I'm sure many modern seasonal watchers in the newest/youngest anime generation with stereotypically low patience and attention span would find agonizingly slow, bloated, and plodding but which I find just perfect and love the series for, the last season, The Final Act, comprising the last 26 episodes, is insanely and noticeably rushed by comparison. The first four to six episodes of that last season are particularly egregious and have the worst pacing in the entire series (episode one or 168 of the whole series proper is straight up unbelievable for rushed developments crammed into one small space of time). I've heard around two-fifths of the manga were compressed in terms of adaptation for this last season, and maybe it's because there was a five year hiatus from 2004 to 2009 in-between episodes of the series airing that they just wanted to quickly wrap it up upon its return. As it is, it's Inuyasha so it still has some of the most powerful, amazing, poignant, and lovely moments of the whole series, but around double the length or 50 or so episodes versus the 26 could have provided it even more room for it to spread its wings and amplify its grandeur. |

Tekkaman Blade: Poor production values. Fullmetal Alchemist: I hate Dante and Father, another pair of boring final villains in a battle shounen. Full Metal Panic: I hate all the villains. Baccano: No chance of sequels and I don’t like reading LNs. Gundam 00: Marina’s existence. Useless bitch who hogs all the screentime in the 2nd season. Magi: Sinbad, Sinbad, the ending of the manga, David, and oh did I mention, Sinbad? His character is just one big terrible joke; it has a lot of problems. Also, his fanboys/fangirls in the fandom back then were pure cancer. Katekyo Hitman Reborn: The manga ending is an affront; poor production values in the beginning of the anime. Tokyo Babylon: I don’t like it’s sequel X or the fact that it’s remake is in limbo. Gintama: The last arc isn’t as good, I don’t like feces jokes, and Utsuro exists. |

From my current favourite list - Planetarian: Genuinely can't think of any Betterman: Too dim, so you couldn't see clearly what was happening on-screen at times. Whether or not that's the fault of the crap DVD encode or not, I don't know. Yosuga no Sora: Deserved 24 episodes Seikai no Monshou: Slightly dated art-style Stratos 4: Miharu should've died Shion no Ou: Dated, flat visuals that betray a limited budget Darker than Black Gaiden: Deserved more episodes Strange Dawn: Can't think of any Shiki: Preferred the manga ending slightly Asura: Always found the axe to be a pretty odd weapon for such a diminutive boy These really are nitpicks though, hence why they didn't come close to affecting the score I gave them. |

The fact that because the first 10 or 11 episodes of Steins;Gate are much worse than the rest of the show it is very hard for some people to complete it. I know like 3 or 4 people that started watching the show and dropped it around ep 4 or 5. Some of them even tried multiple times but S;G bored them so much that they couldn't watch more than a couple of episodes and leave it like that for months or years. Ultimately they all managed to finish the show and they all think of it as a masterpiece and 2 of them have it in their top 3 fav anime. It also doesn't help that Okabe at first just seems like a crazy and delusional man. It is very annoying that such an amazing show has such a lackluster start for most people and that for that reason some people don't get to experience it. |

"Chimp in state of nature never jerks off, but in captivity he does, wat does this mean? In state of nature he’s too busy, to put plainly. He is concerned with mastering space: solving problem of life in and under trees, mastering what tools he can, mastering social relations in the jockeying for power and status. Deprived of this drive to development and self-increase he devolves to pointless masturbation, in captivity, where he senses he is in owned space and therefore the futility of all his efforts and all his actions." |

Legend of the Galactic Heroes - Reinhard insistence on having the FPA soldiers board his ship before he would make any concessions despite knowing his condition goes against one of the main messages of the show. He fought a battle that didn't need to be fought and frankly that action makes him look worse than some of the earlier figures the series condemns. |

For my top 10: One Piece - too much fanservice (esp after time skip), some episodes can feel a bit dragged out. I'd rather they just do a short filler arc than doing that. Naruto/Naruto Shippuden - too much filler, and the war arc was a bit... much. Attack on Titan - the titan animations that were cgi did NOT look good. Ending could have been better (although I don't hate it like many others). D.Gray-man - animation doesn't hold up to today's standards. Ended with a lot of question marks. Ookiku Furikabutte - literally nothing except that I wanted more. Haikyuu - can be a bit dramatic at times. Hunter x Hunter - Nothing, except that the ending left me wanting more which is frustrating. Death Note - halfway through it loses a bit of its spark, since L isn't in the picture anymore. Monster - nothing, I loved it just the way it is. Yuri on Ice - 1) it's too short!!! I needed more. 2) I wish they would have made the relationship between Yuri and Victor a bit less ambiguous (even if it's obvious they were in love). |

Death Note = Mello had a change be more interesting character to end Light then N and there were a lot of dialogues from Mello that were in manga and not in anime .(Its nitpicking for me because Im very satisfied with the way all things ended) Shaman King = Faust deserves a lot of more screen time. Psycho Pass = Kagari was a wasted potential Cannot think anything to xxxHolic |

Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu has a conversation near the very end that discusses a character's parentage. They try to be coy about it, but the conversation makes some pretty strong implications that many people did interpret as fact. Personally, I think there's some ambiguity here, but I strongly disliked entertaining even the possibility, and I felt this ended up coloring a lot of the story and character work throughout the series. |

Gosenzo-sama Banbanzai... the main character's uncontrollable lust for his granddaughter.. it didn't bother me frankly .. Paradise Kiss... somehow, I wish Yukari was better written. IDK what I wish she was like, but.. Aria series.. wish there was less ..sentimentality.. and, kawaii sugary sweetness.. Asobi Asobase ...some parts of the anime are ridiculous.. I'm not even nitpicking here - some parts were just purely idiotic. Death Note.... well :D ..this is a commonly held criticism, that, with the entry of Near, the quality in story went down, I am of the same opinion too, but I still love it. Dorohedoro.. maybe I would appreciate it in a different mood, but to my memory, I wished the animation was better. Flip flappers... too scattered.. falls apart.. Flowers of Evil... I feel like Sawa's personality - the depiction of her personality was a liiiiittle extreme - much too stretched.. it almost looks dishonest but, still it did win me over in the end.. so not really complaining, but if there was a bit of... a touch of grace (I don't mean goodness) in the way she is depicted, I would've thought this was a perfect story. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood ...sometimes.. in some scenes, the characters magically appear to save the day in just the nick of time. people don't know much about it... azumaga daioh, too peak characters, i want to gatekeep it but it's funny and memey, it's a show to watch twice, first english then japanese and sailor moon, 200 episodes but the unfair episode distribution, usagi's daughter takes over 100 episode while the other sailor senshei's which imuch more adored does not get much other than friend and sol arcs, i wanted my girls to take 5 episode in between seperate from usagi proving their worth and independence, but the show is great in term of cast development for its era, and removal of good bg character, sailor v not getting anime... and nichijou, not getting a season 2, (i have this dream planned out where i would earn trillions and get my favourites completely adapted with quality adaptions,,, pure 10 star) and evangelion, (for sidelining asuka in the sequals), the main seemed to be more her focused but the signature character was rei, so i need another spin off with more asuka, and mc's choice not being fleshed out, i always saw rei as shinji mother's body with the soul of eve and evangelion robo as eve's body and shinji's mom's soul... (shinji deserved the happy ending so it was perfect) and isekai like konosuba and re:zero to get quality complete adaption without issues... |

I feel They're “Too short” even when they’ve got 350 plus of episodes. Kochikame How dare it end. Ryotsu should be immortal, haunting finances and tax offices forever. Gintama 350+ episodes and still feels like a trailer for the real madness. Detective Conan 1200+ episodes soon and still make me so angry when they skip a new weekend episode. |

Here’s my top ten and the things I hate about them (not much for some). No ghibli movies Future boy Conan: I think Orlo could’ve been done better. He was mean and evil and then one second later he’s kind to everyone and a good guy. Doesn’t really make sense to me. Takarajima: The way they found the treasure also was kinda out there, and a random choice. I think it is nice they actually found it though (they didn’t in the novel) Lupin lll part ll: a lot of episodes SUCK. Anime sanjuushi: Some of the things Milady did also were kinda out there. She was an op character and it honestly felt like she got more screen time than the actual musketeers. Gauche the Cellist: Gauche goes through some character development, but I’ll admit I hated when he basically abused the poor cat. Detective Conan: PLEASE end already the art sucks bad now and the story is going nowhere. Ranma 1/2: Some episodes suck as well Yu Yu Hakusho: The arc in the early parts of the show, the four guys arc I forgot what it was called wasn’t very good. Dobutsu Takarajima: I could go without the musical segments personally, even though the one with the trippy visuals was really good. Plus, it’s not like the novel AT ALL besides a few things. Cowboy bebop: uhh some episodes were boring. That’s really it. |
