| I'm sure this question has been asked before but what are your thoughts on anime tattoos? Do you have any anime tattoos? To add more icing on the cake, what are your reasoning for getting your anime tattoos if you don't mind sharing? If so, what is it of? How many tattoos do you have? If you want to share your anime tattoos, that would be dope. If many other people share, I'll do the same and share my anime tatts as well! If you don't have any anime tattoos, what's the reasoning behind it? Is it because you just don't like ink on your body? Whatever the case may be, please do share so we can discuss. To start things off, I'll begin, I have the following: 1) Rias Gremory - High School DxD - Mixed with some roses to blind in with the tattoo 2) Rem - Re:Zero 3) Alita Battle Angel - Alita Battle Angel 4) Zero Two - Darling in the FranXX 5) Android 18 - Dragon Ball Z 6) Raphtalia - Rising of the Shield Hero 7) 001 - Darling in the FranXX 8) Gremory Symbol - High School DxD *added some additional roses and chains to the leg sleeve to complete my ultimate waifu sleeve. 1) Rias - back in 2013, when I was facing some depression, the anime High School DxD really pulled me out and has helped me ever since, especially Rias. 2) Rem - shows me no matter what, you cannot give up, even if you have a sad, yet happy side. 3) Alita - teaches me to keep on pushing, even in the face of evil. 4) Zero Two - teaches me to live each day as your last. 5) Android 18 - teaches me to give no f**cks and to destroy your enemies but to cherish your family and friends. 6) Raphtalia - shows me that you can recover from great trauma. 7) 001 - shows me that you cannot give up, even when death stares straight in the face. 8) Gremory Symbol - shows me that family must stick together, no matter what. |

I only have one tattoo right now but I have considered getting an Anime one in the future. I think something small and simple would be ideal. Probably put it on my left forearm. Here are some examples of what I’m thinking about.   |

I don't see how is it possible, but my failure of immagination isn't a valid argument against anything. I find tattoos disgusting so I don't plan on having any. Yes.. yes... It doesn't matter if anime have become my number one interest over rock music, basketball and videogames, i won't make an exception, not even for them. i'll concede that i searched on the web for people who actually inked on their skin some of my favorite characters including very recent ones (fast example, Yuugiri from Zombieland Saga and the rest of her idol group), but still absolutely positively want to keep my body without tattoos. Buying t-shirts of the same characters is more than enough. |

| I don't plan on ever getting a tattoo in general, but if I ever did, it certainly wouldn't be of anything anime-related, or pop culture in general. That stuff is fleeting, and I know I'd deeply regret it later on when I fall out of love with whatever it is that I would have got. Personally I admittedly also consider anime tattoos kind of cringe, but I think everyone's body is their own and what matters isn't the opinion of a stranger but only that it makes the owner happy :) |
| I've been looking for some anime tattoo artists on Instagram but none of them are exactly what I'm looking for. I won't get a tattoo until I find an artist I truly love, especially for an anime tattoo, I think it's really easy to fuck them up compared to other artstyles. Most of the tattoo artists that offer anime art are not based in the UK, and I'm NOT travelling out of the country for a tattoo. Furthermore I'm not even sure what character/series I would get. I was thinking about Vinland Saga or Perfect Blue though. |

| wow.. amazing.. OP As for me, when I was obsessed with Berserk, like many, I wanted to get a Brand of Sacrifice one hehe.. but I won't get any tattoos done, they're too permanent for me. I love the art of tattoo-ing and to know the stories behind them though. |
| I currently have one; the neck plugs from Ghost in the Shell (specifically SAC) on the back of my neck. It was an enjoyable experience and I plan on expanding down my back with more plating style port covers. I would like to get other anime themed tattoos but I'm not a fan of just straight up character tattoos so I'll need to think about it |

| If I got one it would need to be simple, like a symbol or something. The symbol on Lilith's mask or a command seal for instance. Nothing intricate that I would regret years later. |

| I never really had any interest in getting any tattoos, but if I did it might end up being something with a connection to anime. But if it ever happens it would be something small and subtle, not just a character's face. That's a bit too on the nose for my taste. Things I'd consider would be for example the Brand of Sacrifice from Berserk or some pirate flag from One Piece. Something along those lines, a symbol or pattern. But most likely I'll never get one, because it's just not something I'm inclined to spend money on. |

| i'm already conscious enough to not wear anime shirt if i have any in any random place, i hope you guys know that you are good looking already without tattoo. if you hurt yourself near tattoo area it takes longer to heal and prone to infection. |
I think this pic from Fruits Basket would make a good tattoo, but I'm too indecisive to actually choose something that would be on my skin forever. Might change my mind in the future though |

I think getting a tattoo of like a character is a bit weird, but if it's like some symbol or item of significance for a particular anime (like if you got the Joestar birthmark tattooed on your shoulder), then I think that's really neat |

| Got a small brand of sacrifice next to my heart : I really like it so far. One thing that's cool about it is telling about its history to people curious about it, the fondness I had for the manga and its author, the symbol it represents to me... People usually like learning that kind of stuff, it's exotic to many of them ;) Edit : @41413 You're absolutely right, fear not ;p The brand of sacrifice is the mark Guts has (on his neck though), but I won't spoil its origin. Just know what it means to me : Even the darkest of existences is worth living ;) |
