I'm a libertarian, close enough as I always value "true freedom"

Here's mine.

  • I'm surprised that my morality was the closest to that of a conservative.

  • My strongest values are Nurture and Fairness-Proportionality.

Surprised my Equality ended lower than my Tradition. Must've made some mistakes.

@SargonTheGreat
I don't know. I am not very familiar with many political terms as my English vocabulary is very limited and these tests are not accurate in every case.

"Equality" is about equal treatment but in this test from some of the question it just seems like an affirmative action type deal which isn't equality its just punishment for being successful.

That affirmative action BS just throws meritocracy in the s***hole, not to mention how racist it is as it gives more opportunities to blacks and hispanics while undermining the hard work that Asians put in

If that's what "equality" means in this test then I'm very glad that mine is as low as it can be, I strongly believe in equal opportunities regardless of races

The naming of the two Fairness categories here are based on the outcome each type of Fairness is attempting to achieve.

One is called Equality because it seeks a outcome where everyone is more or less equal in their benefit.

The other is called Proportionally because it seek a outcome where everyone's position is proportional to their attributed merit.
You are not your body, you are your brain, the "self" that emerges from within it.

"Your strongest values are Fairness-Proportionality and Lifestyle Liberty.

The way loyalty is described in there is a bit disturbing to me tbh. It's a very traditionalist view on it rather that pretty much doesn't ask fundamental questions on loyalty (true betrayal of your partner, of your country, etc etc) and instead goes for very morally grey questions and judge from it.

Apparently, I’m closest to a Socialist, and given my nurturing stat, mother teresa

Overall, pretty bad quiz. They mistake many of my reasons and I disagree with some of their definitions/questions (like loyalty, as the above user explains)

Question 1:
A woman throws her cat across the room for scratching her furniture.

Woah wtf is this I haven't even started.

There are tests for almost everything on that site, it's weird.

Your strongest values are Nurture and Authority.
Your morality was the closest to that of a socialist.

Lots of people who don't want to help out the poor. Seems fair for rightist MAL, but disappointing.

Loyalty's definition in this is more of not finding it okay if someone chooses a different side to yours. So yeah, it's very traditional. People nowadays should work in opposing businesses if they want.

lots of affirmative action questions and my answers to those are obvious since i got socialist here (or Nurture is so high)

Lifestyle Liberty: Honoring the individual's independence and autonomy by allowing each person to determine the course of their own life.

Sanctity-Nature: Maintaining the purity of nature and the environment, seeing nature as sacred and mankind’s influence as corruptive.

Nah, I answered that those are not right in the test and didn't get conservative.

The high Tradition and Loyalty are what probably got you conservative here. Don't know why you're complaining though. Most of what I've heard from you matches what I would expect from a conservative person.

Honestly sounds about right. Thought loyalty would be a bit higher. But there was some questions that didn't really work well because while I care for nature, I didn't really care much for the points in this test. And I'm not really that nurturing but the questions then were about throwing animals at walls? wtf.

Where I live, this is illegal to make such discrimination, exams are usually anonymous, while statistics on race are prohibited (reference). So this is hard for me to understand how could such a question be asked in the first place.

You are delusional if you don't think Affirmative Action is happening in French Universities. Britain "says affirmative action isn't allowed", but the British government and universities/employers do affirmative action anyway.

In the recruitment of students in the Universities, does it really happen? Not on a large scale certainly... I know that it does happen in the recruitment of the faculty members, but the latter is heavily flawed any way, for various reasons ranging from nepotism and the influence of cabals, to obscure recruitment processes and thematic bias of the jury.

That question has nothing to do with antisemitism, it's gauging meritocratic thinking vs. "equity" (read: systemic racism against acceptable targets) based thinking. They just mentioned Jews and Asians in particular because along with whites, those are the main groups hurt by affirmative action (and implying that there's systemic bias against whites might have been too spicy for the test maker).

So what does this mean? Am I a liberal? Am I democrat if I was American? In the UK I vote for the Lib-Dems even though I know they won't win. Because the Labour party is for people on benefits who don't try in life and the Conservative Tory party is for middle class white people who don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. At least the Lib-Dems are somewhere in the middle and want to legalise weed.

1 an adherent of libertarianism: [as modifier] : libertarian philosophy.
• a person who advocates civil liberty.
2 a person who believes in free will.

I agree that was total bullshit. I've not personally seen or heard of this where I am in the UK. Everyone has always had the same test for a job as far as I know or for school except for at GCSEs where they had a high tier exam and low tier exam. The top two classes out of 6 tiered classes got the higher papers.

For these questions I picked level 3 No No NO. And as you know I am black myself.

This is incredibly dehumanising, you are constantly reducing people to their skin colour. The tory party couldn't care whatsoever about British interests, they only care about rich people's interests.

Britain isn't the US, so defining people by skin colour is completely alien. The people groups within Britain, are the English, Scottish, Welsh, and then European and other populations.

Although I am impressed that my economic liberty is low, and that my results indicate that I have authority as well. In ways I feel good knowing that I'm not a traditionalist nor have so much loyalty.
