TALKING STAFFS. I WANT ONE.

Yay, Chiaki's intro! Slight hints about Fumika! Whoo, shoujo-ai episode!

I wanted the letter to be from a past relationship of one of the girls or something, it just didn't feel heavily dramatic to me. I guess she was mad at her mother for leaving her family with another man and then going off and dying and she didn't want to hear from her mother after that? Ehhhh. Maybe I'm just emotionally beyond feeling that way or something. A parent's a parent, and I'd sure like to hear what they had to say in their final moments for making me so pissed off or ruining my life or disowning me or what have you.

Then I have random nitpicks with the whole bottle starting a fire like that thing and the rain somehow being able to completely wash out the entire fire in a few minutes, but whatever.

Decent episode, but I guess I expected more from it. Otherwise, I want more Chiaki, and it looks like I'll still get some next episode...!

Much like real postal workers they have their designated zones. XD No suicides, murders, whatsoever in this episode.
You see there's no need to wonder where your god is,

Just getting this out of the way now: DAT Yuri.

Anyway, story-wise, a weaker episode in that department. I still liked it, but I didn't really get into it as much as I did the first episodes.

Chiaki is awesome, I must admit. Interesting to see another carrier. And the information about Fumika made up for everything else this episode lacked.

Happy ending yuri with one of the girls being voiced by Arai Satomi? Hardly possible to top that.

I liked the episode, both because of the story and the exposition regarding Fumika. I wonder if it is as simple as her being in a coma. 5/5.

It was good but not great.
I'm not a yuri fan.
I don't like that happy ending ,it needed more blood like the 2nd episode.

1. Can't argue with yuri; how strange that only fumika ages;

2. How lucky for it to have rained just above the burning home

Lolol. I've forgotten that song but thanks for reminding me.

I agree that this episode lacked the same depth as the previous ones. While I did like the happy ending take for once, I think I would've been more satisfied to hear why the mother left? It did seem like she regretted it, or realized it was the wrong choice, but it was just hard to make that connection between how the mother left and got abused, Ran hating her mother for that, and then after reading the letters, Ran said that her mother was tease. I can think of many possibilities that might've happened, why the mother might've not visited her face-to-face, but it'd be all speculation. I guess I'm just thinking too hard, and the point of this episode was that shigofumi can lead to closure. Still, I feel like it was lacking, and that's probably because the previous episodes were so good.

It was definitely interesting to hear that Fumika is growing, unlike normal shigofumi deliverers. Can't remember if someone commented this already (in episode 3 maybe?), but it seems like real Fumika might be in a coma or something? Not sure, although that's what I inferred from what Kaname's father saying that "it's impossible."

Chiaki is cute :) I love the bickering between the staffs XD

Not as good as the other ones, but less dark and with a happy end.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

This time the contour story is less dramatic than the previous one, but the theme treated is always valid as motivation. The main story is giant steps and there are already new characters, albeit sketched. The soundtrack is always well-coordinated with the situations shown. More than satisfied with how the anime series is advancing.

Oh, le beans. :D ... uhm, back to the story.
This anime surely has a problem with fathers, that becomes a little bit weird after a while. But I guess they choose the recurrent motif, because Fumika seemed to kill her own father too. I bet she had similar reasons like abuse?
Maybe.. I wonder about the thing the other Shigofumi said. Maybe Fumika is similar to Enma Ai and someone will give her a second chance to live or something?
Liked the episode, the story of the girl, the other Shigofumi and the quarrel between all of them haha

It's so normal compared to the first three
Well this is probably the calm before storm

I really think when everyone can see Fumika delivering Shigofumi, it's just bad idea
Should have remove their memories like MIB xD

I'm guessing from piece of images here and there, Fumika isn't actually dead yet
She's in coma, I guess some people call it vegetative state
So she can still grow unlike others.. but why they choose her when she's not dead is the question

A same sex relationship without any fanservice and fetishization in my anime (even tho some of the comments here didn't really pass the vibe check ig)? Is this even possible? :D
We love to see it! <3

What a soothing episode!
Having a happy ending for once is quite nice & I loved that they didn't make a big deal out of the sexualtity of our protagonists this episode. This anime keeps being awesome.

This. I was so surprised by how lowkey and wholesome they made that relationship. Hopefully, those two have a happy ending (unlike everyone else in this series).

Is this episode hinting that Nanae is a reincarnation of Ran's mom? Or am I just special? Ugh, if it is I'm gonna be pissed. Hate how all lesbians or gays in anime are fucked up in some way

It's been a while since I last watched a good depression inducing series like this one. It's kinda reminding me of Jigoku Shoujo.

Not as good as the preceeding episodes. Lesbian with mommy issues, what a stunning and epic plot...
More couriers in Chiaki is a new revelation at least.

Now we know that the MC is not the only one who delivers Shigofumi. But yeah, I already predicted that there are many Angel or whatever they're called, who delivers Shigofumi cuz the MC can't literally deliver Shigofumi all over the world.
