I never had any interest in Conan so I went in blind. Unfortunately it went downhill after the first episode, until about the halfway point. Had it been more consistent I would've rated it higher. It amuses me how pretty much everyone knows who Kaito Kid is yet not his childhood friend and her father. Best part is, instead of spilling the beans they help him. Possibly due to his charismatic personality. Kaito goes from being an annoying pest to becoming a respectable thief. I want more / this needs a sequel. |

Yeah, sure, why not? God, how much I hated Miria and Isaac, is this supposed to be a comedy? aren't those supposed to be funny? there is nothing funny about them, they are just ridiculous characters in a supposedly serious setting. I did like Ennis, but not enougf to actually care about what happens to her, or any other character for that matter, can't remeber the last anime that had me rooting for everyone to just die in someway. (I guess Ladd had his moments when he was entertaining) What an underwhelming ending, I guess I will just have to watch the extra episodes. I understand someone can be fascinated by the storytelling style in this anime, I just found a gigantic disappointment. |
