THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Finally this season's over, but to me it didn't felt like it was the end. Would the studio adapt these last chapters? My rate however would be a strong 9/10. The animation was superb anyway. They really went all out on this adaptation.

An improvement to the already good S1. 8/10 for the anime.
All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

i expected it to be as epic as episode 5, but it worked well, too. that wholesome ending and tease of the Broccoli Tree arc, really cant wait for the OVA!

a solid 9/10, will give a 10 when the Dimple arc will be adapted x)

As expected, sakuga 100%!! The fight was really well handled and the animation was crazy good. Though, I really wish that they didn't cut out the different 100% phases Mob goes through during the fight. Not sure why they decided to not show the percentages. Other than that, the fight presented everything I'd hope for. The fight shows the culmination of Mob's development throughout the two seasons.

Second half was more on the light and fun side, but also a good epilogue for the arc. But that broccoli though, haha!! Dem broccoli seeds made one hell of a landmark for the city. Btw, this broccoli was even teased in the first season's OP, lol. Also, Terizawa's new haircut is great!

Outstanding season overall. Seeing Mob's growth throughout the series, and his will to change was great to see. And with production values this high, it was given one of the best adaptations possible. OVA announced too! Hopefully we get a third season/movie to cover the rest of the manga.

10/10, haven't given this score in a long time, other than recent Gintama seasons

The only arc that could beat Reigen arc is the Broccoli arc so it better be the OVA.

Haven't seen the ep yet but this was the best anime I've seen in ages, yet alone one of the best 2nd seasons an anime could've ever gotten. A solid 10, I really can't think of any flaws of this season. I'd only put it down to a 9 knowing that the next few arcs are going to be damn good too, especially the final one. My most anticipated anime now is a season 3 for this wonderful show.

Episode was spectacular, notice that all Mob 100% explosions was shown visually with his expressions and body language without letters telling us that it his 100% new emotion.New music was also great, mob va was probably his best performance and they spend half the episode on aftermatch ending after serizawa getting haircut, didn't expect them to put so much care into interaction between the cast but it was right decision as for me.10/10,waiting for OVA and eventual season 3

First episode: Mob growing plants, last episode: Mob growing plants. Book ends.

Mob can be brutal when he wants to, he made Toichirou play Twister, not to mention his demonic laugh at the beginning. But in the end, all's well that ends well. That includes Serizawa, who now has the perfect teacher with Reigen, and the perfect senpai with Mob.

Solid 10/10. As an anime-only, here's hoping to a Season 3 that will complete the adaptation.

Incredible action as I had expected. This season has some of the most polished battle scenes I've seen and the finale didn't disappoint me. They made it really feel like a high stake fight too. Mob has really grown to me as a character throughout this season, even more so than the previous season.

9/10. Same rating as the first season. I look forward to that new OVA.

The finale did not disappoint, that was one hell of a ride, from one sakuga to another, from one emotion to another, from one character development to another,
just amazing.
Mob laughing tho, he finally was able to go all out against another powerful esper, no holds barred, did not expect him to enjoy it like that, his emotions are unstable in the first place, guess this is one of the first time he was able to go like that.
Suzuki transforming into a pure energy like being was epic, Mob was really pushed to the limit fighting with him.
The moment he decided to stay with him and or rather try to still save him despite everything that happened really hit me, I'm gonna miss this show so damn much. I hear there's an OVA coming, hopefully after the OVA they announce a S3, I hear there's 1-2 more arcs remaining.
Sadly ???% did not make an appearance in this final fight...

That ED song was great!

I was really looking forward to a sneakpeak of Dimple!Serizawa i guess that'll have to wait till season 3 huh

I stopped reading the manga right b4 the broccoli so i never did find out why there's s giant broccoli. Lol now i know and im so glad its not an asspull but actually a joke that makes perfect sense. (The giant tree part kinda reminds me of the anime Blast of Tempest)

Dimple playing with serizawa's hair in the end is so cute lol

This was a really good episode. Suzuki vs. mob was awesome. those seeds given to mob by reigen becomes a giant tree lol.

I am glad that serizawa joined reigen. He really needs reigen. Our boi mob is now kageyama senpai.

Easily AOTS for me. Really great animation. 10/10 for me.

really hyped for ova.

Tbh as a manga reader that episode was a bit disappointing for me. Expected a longer fight and different Emotions be shown. Also i'm not sure if the "demon" form of claw boss is even from the manga. I.m.o. they should have sped up the ending and extended the fight. I mean not even 10 minutes? Come on :(

Visually one of the best anime out there and this finale lived up to the hype, great stuff.

Overall I liked this season even better than the first one due to more sakuga porn, great character moments and development. Those feels were real.

8/10 from me

Once again the series delivered. I loved the final fight and the fact that the Claw boss had actually regretted some of his past actions. I would like to see him properly apologize to his wife. Glad to see Serizawa moving on as well and he looks like a normal person after the haircut. That giant broccoli though cracked me up especially at how it popped up. I rarely give that score but this show truly deserved it so 10/10. Third season please!

I knew this would get to a 9. Well deserved.
I remember how excited I was when season 2 was announced, watching the last episode of it kinda made me really emotional. It would have been my favorite this season if it weren't for Kaguya, but it sure as hell the second fave.
Mob was absolutely made for Bones.
As for my rating: 9/10

I actually realized that this anime might become an inspiration for Hikikomori people (which already exceed 1 million people in Japan). People can't live alone. A little bit sad that One concluded this series so that he can focus on One Punch Man. I think both Mob and OPM should existed together as Yin and Yang.

That is what I love the most about this anime. There are lessons to learn from. There are good influences to look up to. It has been a very long damn time since I've enjoyed a shounen as much as I do with mob psycho.

Lmao @ the 2 people that hated this episode. I wonder whyyy...
Godly episode though, man not only was the fight so damn exhiliarating but everything just OOZED character. Toichiro and Mob were characterised absolutely brilliantly in this episode, I'm so, so damn proud of my boy. He's grown so much that he barely even feels like the same character compared to how he was in the first season. What an amazing show. Easily my AOTS, and may possibly be AOTY depending on what else comes out this year. What a good job you've done, Bones, this just screamed passion. Reminds me yet again of why I'm so happy to have gotten into anime.

tbh... pretty dissapointed, mob vs mogami was a better fight and i feel like they missed such a huge comedic value by not making toichiro a evil version of reigen, having no powers and manipulating others to do things for them ( with having his kid or umbrella as real final boss by physic strenght ). Feel like it all went downhill after the parents dying in cliffhanger and having it as a "joke ". Series overall is good ofc, just the ending is not that great, especially since it wasn't even the most interesting fight.

Why would you want them to make Toichiro like that? Did you completely miss the point that Toichiro was meant to be a reflection of what Mob could have been like if he relied solely on his gifts instead of his hard work and will to befriend others? I thought this was the perfect conflict and the best means of having an antagonist that matched Mob, not just physically but ideologically. The end of the fight not being a gigantic brawl but instead Mob choosing to stay with Toichiro to show compassion to someone he saw as an enemy was touching as all hell and shows just how much Mob has grown from the start of the show.

The end of season 2 is here. Strong ending as expected. However I did not feel the emotional impact I was supposed to feel during the scene where Mob saves Suzuki.

My favorite scene in this episode was when Reigen introduced Serizawa as his new employee. Just goes to show that this show doesn't necessarily shines the brightest when the battles are going all out.

The earlier episodes where mob is developing as a character were so incredibly strong, same goes with Reigen's arc. Of course this last arc was phenomenal too with its mesmerizing animation, directing and choreography. I really loved the fight between the teleporting guy and basically everyone else Episode 11, or the scene were Ekubo possessed the Body improvement club guy in Episode 10.

A definite step-up from season 1 for me and that means a lot considering how good season 1 was. This season managed to further progress its main cast and make them even better characters, especially Reigen and Mob.

Does this episode close the plot same as the manga? Because I saw on myanimelist the manga is said to hve 109 chapters, and episode 12 arrived around chapter 88. I highly doubt they covered 20 chapters in this episode.
