| Kindest anime character? Oohh... This is hard... I can't choose. I have so many kind characters to choose from... I'm just going to list AND explain... I'll edit this when I watch more anime. Otonashi Yuzuru from Angel Beats - What he did in Episode 9 was one of the most selfless and kind-hearted things I have ever seen, to the point that it made me cry so bad... Matou Sakura from the Fate series - Despite everything she has suffered during her childhood, she is still a kind-hearted girl who cooks, cleans for Shirou and even takes care of him when he's injured. Saber is still best girl though, sorry Sakura... This one, I included both of the characters: Allelujah Haptism and Soma Peries/Marie Parfacy from Gundam 00 - Keep in mind, I'm not talking about their other personalities since their other personalities are not kind at all (except for Soma). Both these two are like one of the most kind-hearted pairings I've ever seen. Both of these two will do anything for each other. They don't even hesitate to give up their lives for the other or their friends. They have been through a lot together and yet they remain selfless and kind-hearted till the bitter end. God, I'm so obsessed with these two... |

| Yeah I actually agree , Natsume is the kindest I can remember ,Ashitaka from Mononoke Hime is very kind and thoughtful as well . As for female characters , I'd say the kindest of them all is probably Nausicaä from Kaze no Tani no Nausicäa Sawako from Kimi no Todoke comes to mind too , she only thinks of the others ,very caring and protective of her friends. |

| This will be incredibly difficult. Natsume Takashi - Always having this tremendous helping attitude towards human and youkai alike. I have never seen him abandon anyone looking for help. Kawamoto Akari - She is basically giving away her youthful days acting as the mother of her two little sisters. Alicia Florence - Ara~ Ara~ She always finds something nice to say about something no matter how small or big it is. If kindness can be defined through someone's smile alone, there's not another character in anime better than Akari's mentor. Kuronuma Sawako - She has never once done anything that would hurt others. She is probably the purest shoujo heroine I have seen in anime. There are many others in manga, but she is the only one animated. Furukawa Nagisa - She became the source of life for Tomoya. You cannot find a more caring person than her in anime. Allen Walker - An exorcist who cries while exorcising demons? That's Allen Walker for you. Honda Tooru - She became the shining light of hope for the Souma family. Her positive attitude changed the cursed family little by little. Shinonome Nano - Who said robots cannot be kinder than human? Kira Takuto - The kindest shinigami ever. I wonder what would have happened if he just followed his orders and took Mitsuki's life. Tsukamoto Shuuichi - He is ignored to the point that he can be considered non-existent but he always showed up for Kumiko when she needed someone. Ooji Mochizou - You won't find a kinder childhood friend than him. Kokutou Mikiya - Mikiya's gentle personality gave Shiki a chance to remain human. Araragi Koyomi - What he did throughout the Monogatari series and especially in Kizumonogatari and Ougi Dark arc make him one of the kindest characters ever. Takasu Ryuuji - Yep. Girls really need to find real life characters like him. Erin - How did she keep on being so kind to others despite of going through so much in her life? Shiodome Miuna - Selflessness and kindness couldn't be defined more accurately than giving her character as an example. Akemi Homura - Let's not go there. Natsume Kyousuke - Let's not reveal it here. But if I have to pick one, it has to be: Otonashi Yuzuru - Oh, God! What he has done in his life is unmatched in anime. Made me wanna draw circles. ;_; |

| I think it's a tough question. Because you can only write so many here based on those characters that managed to overwhelm your feelings. I'm of those who easily admires their genuine kindness. If anything, I would like to know more about which characters that you dislike for having a deceitful nature of doing kindness (something to be gained or buying a favor). |
