| Well, continuing what happened last time... I guess only fillers will be mostly comedy-oriented because this arc looks way deeper and more serious xD The OP and ED were nice. They spoiled an intriguing character though, that maybe will appear later :P |

| the saiki reference at the beginning made me surprised, but it also made my day. i'm so freaking glad gintama is back! it's been a while since i was this awed by an anime, and it's only the first episode! this season is going to be epic |
| it's finally here!!! How I missed the gintama dirty jokes xD but the story is getting so serious. Can't wait to see awesome fights and also lots of feels trip Loved the op (Kagura's mom!!!) and the ed. It was cute to see that they put them into chinese costumes, somehow honoring Yato tribe and kagura's family :D Kind of shocked of why there are people who gave 1/10 o.O that's so cruel D; |

| YES, It has returned :D So assuming that's Kagura's mom in the OP I'm curious to know why Kagura and Kamui were made believe that she died. Then there's Shoyo being immortal and Kamui facing Kankou :o Things are getting quite interesting right off the bat. |

| Ah yes, I needed something to fill that horrid void that Diamond is Unbreakable left when it wrapped up :/ Finally got to dig my teeth into this ep after re-watching the last season (it has been almost ten solid months after all)! Mostly a set up episode...it still feels unreal that Gintama has had three "serious" arcs in a row and that despite this being a new season, with each new episode we get closer to the end. Although that intro was just gold- easing us in with a 4th wall break is just so Gintama and it reminded me of the good ol' times. It was equally as sad to see the Yorozuya routine officially broken...no more Snack Otose shenanigans ;-; So, it turns out that Utsuro is in fact Shoyo after all- just a reborn version of a man that cannot die...kinda like a reincarnation, but not entirely. I wonder if he actually remembers Gintoki and his other disciples entirely?? But poor Gin, living with the hefty weight of thinking he killed his teacher when the guy was actually immortal all along got punkd yet again Gintoki. From the setup this ep and also from the op and ed, it looks like Kagura's family situation is gonna get addressed (and oml her mother looks like a damn goddess...how'd Umibouzu pull that chick?!). That also means more Kamui, and more Kamui can never be a bad thing. Speaking of, I like the sequence for the opening itself, and the song is catchy although definitely not one of my favorites nothing beats Sakura Mitsutsuki and Kasanaru Kage. The ending is just hype though, and it's already one of my favorites...the song, the mix of stills & animation, the colors and everyone's glorious oriental outfits had me gushing. Takasugi was particularly pleasing. Really, I'm just so glad to have this back. 2017 has not had the greatest of starts anime-wise, so this makes everything much better! |

It was actually a lot like another ED they did that featured the main characters in suits and stuff. First thing that came to my mind when I saw it. | Gintama hype is real. Dun care if it's already got such a high rating 'cUZ IT DESERVES IT. ALWAYS HAS, ALWAYS WILL. Friggen GOSH though, the OP and ED are fantastic! Seeing all the snippets of WHAT'S TO COME is absolutely astounding. /O-O/ Seeing this arc animated is going to be the best thing ever. I can't wait. Definitely one of my favorite arcs, aside from the Shinsengumi Crisis arc TTvTT 5/5 |

| RIP Saiki Kusuo timeslot xD A bit filler eh? Well I guess suddenly going in to the story isn't really good for ep 1 I guess I'll watch this just to enjoy the seiyuu and OP+ED since the manga is a bit far away from this Can't wait for Shogun "meeting" and Kagura's Papa&Mama love story xD |
